By the way... How comparable are they to Ovechkin and Nicklas Bäckström? (Mikita obviously better than Bäckström.)
Actually, I think they are more comparable to Trottier-Bossy, considering there is less separation between that duo. As for the OP--I think this is worthwhile consideration--but I have Hull Sr. above Mikita. Hull was one of the greatest goal scorers ever and was exciting, flashy and as dynamic as any player of his era. Hull is on my short list as "5th best ever" while Mikita isn't a consideration for #5 for me. Not to say that Mikita wasn't outstanding--he absolutely was--and for such a long time.
