Not to turn this into a Simashev vs Silayev thread but holy shit Simashev only has 2 shots in his last 11 games. Simashev only has 18 shots in 26 games on the season. Silayev has 18 shots in his last 11 games. Silayev has 44 shots in 27 games on the season. He only had 1 the first 5 games so he's basically at 2 a game over the last 22. Both are playing 17 minutes a night with no PP time as well

Both are great defensively, both are great skaters, overall Silayev is little bit better I think, I like Simashev in D zone with the puck more, I like Silayev without the puck more in personal play one on one, Simashev I think is little bit better with understand the situation all over the ice around him. I think Simashev has more stick skills overall, Silayev from his starting speed has little more as potential defenseman who can sleep through the zone from the blue line to be second volume shooter.

I really like both.
