I mean no problem with you saying no to a Lundell/guhle deal, but those other three young dmen aren’t even in the range to get Lundell.
Barron might also be available, Mailloux for sure.
And as I write this, I'm pretty sure (at least) one of them will become a clearly more valuable player than Lundell and offering them will seem insane in a few years.

Bob is not such negative value. He is performing and if they decide to buy him out, Panthers can quickly save 3,3M in cap for next 2 seasons. Or they can simply retain 50% and save 5M. But I am really curious what Zito does this summer. Overpaying your UFAs would be highway to hell.
Forsling is the guy we keep definitely. Montour isn't the same. Reino would be great, but would need to be on a team friendly deal.

The only way Montreal moves Guhle for a 3C is if they are convinced he will have perpetual injury issues, killing his usefulness as a top 4 D.

Otherwise, Guhle is growing into a top pairing defenseman, perhaps comparable to McDonough, so if someone asks for him in a deal, it's going to be for a core piece. Not a 3C.

Harris or Struble could be available as young D. I'd suggest Xhekaj but apparently he's only worth a mid-round pick...🙄

This is extremely disingenuous. You have a right to say that Guhle, perhaps, is presently closer to his perceived upside than Lundell. But it’s also true that the perceived upside of Lundell is well above a 3C. It wouldn’t be a shock if Lundell ends up being a more impactful player than Guhle. Time will tell. But it’s also fair to point out that Florida isn’t exactly a tanking team with poor center depth.

There's no way they get Reinhart and Montour for 13M. I would cost them 3-4M more than that (Reinhart at 9M and Montour at 7M)
Based on his play after coming back from injury, Montour might be making himself more affordable. The points aren't there so far, as he is pacing for under 15 over an 82 game season. He'll turn it around, but after 13 games, he's not coming close to his numbers from last year.

Didn't realize he was struggling this year... But I think he'll be aiming for 7M even if he ends up with 40ish points

He's coming back from injury, been ok, but not scoring. So, he will probably ask for 7, but the numbers aren't there. He has 2 points in 13 games. And I think he likes playing in Florida.

To be fair, if he was going for 70+ pts this year again he'd be looking for 9 not 7
