By my count, data from Natural Stat Trick, he played 29 minutes with Eller this season (all situations).

Total of 29 4 vs 5 PK shifts, total time just under 18 minutes. So, not much.

The Center he has spent the most time with this season is Crosby.

Why tho? Caps already have a bunch of middling 3rd line wingers. Beauvillier's most notable asset is his speed, but when the player he's most likely to push out of the line-up is Ethen Frank and they waived Vrana to fit him - the speed is pretty much a wash.

Not only is the 2nd overpayment, but the target selection here just seems bizarre.
