Im liking the slew foot from Kempe more and more. McDavid is dirty and the league doesnt do shit about it - and because of that the players will have to handle it.

"It's okay because he gets screwed over by so many missed calls. The league owes him" or sonething like that, I'm sureMan, McDavid chucking a blatant elbow in the game against minny tonight, and getting away with it.
I honestly can’t wait to sneak over to the main board to see how the oilers faithful spin that into a “it didn’t even happen, but if it did, it’s actually a good thing”
They unironically use the phrase “Cali reffing” like it’s a gotcha."It's okay because he gets screwed over by so many missed calls. The league owes him" or sonething like that, I'm sure
When i rewatched that yesterday I felt the same digust but didnt want to start a separate rant on Kopi. He doesnt have the pack animal instinct at all.. pure pacifist. You know what here's a hot take... this is exactly why Kopitar shouldn't be the captain of this team. Grabs McDavid and immediately starts looking around nervously for someone else to do something. Amazing skilled player, shitty captain.
He's easily the best player on the Kings and has the respect of the refs, but he just isn't a player a team will rally behind when trying to grind out 16 playoff wins. When i rewatched that yesterday I felt the same digust but didnt want to start a separate rant on Kopi. I dabbled in pacifism Dude…When i rewatched that yesterday I felt the same digust but didnt want to start a separate rant on Kopi. He doesnt have the pack animal instinct at all.. pure pacifist.
Dude, you are 100% incorrect.I disagree. You are taught not to duck checks - with the caveat to duck if its an incoming headshot. Its not a hard fast rule not to duck. If you watch McDavid he had 3 or 4 hard strides and was lining him up to destroy him into the bench - that was almost a charge level of distance.. thats way more dangerous option to me since he had no leverage to absorbe the check. If it was not near the bench I'd be 100% dont duck.
Dude, you are 100% incorrect.
McDavid isn't lining up Laferriere for a big hit there, he is busting his ass to get to Laferriere before he can get to the redline to force him to either ice the puck at the end of an extended shift or to cough it up under the pressure of a regular check. There was nothing even remotely malicious about that play, the only thing that made it dangerous was Laferriere deciding to duck into it.
That exact same play happens 4 or 5 times every game. No wonder you are so wrong about Lewis, you are clearly missing SO much of what is going on out there.
It looked malicious. McDavid seemed to be targeting Lafs head... 97 also had quite a bit a head of steam.. maybe not a charge but close. Ive not seen Laf puss out on a check before. He also was up for a fight in his 1st NHL game.. the kid is not soft.Dude, you are 100% incorrect.

This post is considered trolling, yes?Thats exactly what they are: something.
They dont even stick up for one another and havent for years.
Buffalo and every other hockey team sticks up for one another as teamates. The kings arent teamates; the're not even a team.
I know Fiala is a hot button subject around here. But I think anything who watches this will agree that he needs to be traded for this alone
Don't want to open a new thread for this and not sure where to put it but does anyone have an update on Dean Lombardi's book? Will it ever be published? I think last I heard about it he had a completed draft but not sure what's happened since if anything.

He's written his first 150 pages. In other words, his forword.Don't want to open a new thread for this and not sure where to put it but does anyone have an update on Dean Lombardi's book? The misnomer is that it’s a book. The word is encyclopaedia. He's written his first 150 pages. In other words, his forword.
