This was my thoughts. Of course he's not playing as good as a #1D because he's at best a #4 playing well over his head. I can't believe people are getting so mad about that and want him benched. Realistically are defenseman should look like.

The irony being, of course, that since they didn't want to put them in over their heads they overprotected them so they couldn't develop...until they were suddenly in over their heads because they weren't integrated appropriately.

All the dumb shit we predicted 8 years ago has come full circle and it's almost unbelievable.
