Tout l'monde dehors, on veux Bédard.

Galli is just getting old, like the rest of us. But he still plays his heart out every game. It's just maddening to see him on the 1st PP before better players. Like with lil' David. Too bad PK decided to hang them up, coulda used him for a year.

My personal life loves how bad the team is.

I've never been so productive in my life. Finances are point and well informed since I've got time to read. Nothing's behind at work. I'm either on my PC working or gaming with the stream on or in the home gym powerlifting with my Lenovo 13inch tablet playing the game. Heck, we were supposed to prepare dinner early to be ready to watch the first period, but my son said that he instead wanted to do cross country running in the mountain that's right next to my house. We've missed some preseason action this way and now he loves cross country running. We actually realized he's damn good at it, so he's going to be joining his school's team next spring.

So I've got a lot of love for Bergevin. Making me and my son healthy, fit and helping me make money. What a f***ing guy.

Not much to say about the game though.

I like Marty. He has potential as a coach. But, he needs to play the guys that'll be here next year and beyond. No Hoffdrounov. Put Slaf in the top 6, or send him down. He's actually creating offense despite Dvorak and Gallaghers carbon monoxide addictions. I would rather he play significant minutes in the top 6 before sending him down to Houle, who I don't trust. Dach and Monahan don't deserve Hoffman or Dadonov either. Poor guys. I can't blame him for the defense though, having Matheson and Edmunston would make a big difference. And for the love of god, they need to do something about the PP. I'm not talking about getting it to 20%. But, a 15-17% PP has to be possible.

My opinion on the game

We overcomplicate the powerplay for nothing we’ve got good assets there and they are not where they should be.

PP1
Caufield Suzuki Dadonov
Wideman Guhle

PP2
Drouin Monahan Hoffman
Harris or Xhekaj Savard

They are our best powerplay players and we should use them where they had success. Forward on the point does not work sorry.

Slafkovsky : If you are not going to make him play or if you feel he is in over his head then send him down. 12 minutes a night is not enough.

Dach, I feel like he is working hard but this mid center mid winger is not working. Put him at center all the time and use Monahan at center also.

We need to give ice time to our vets that we want to trade and help our younger player to develop.

Caufield Suzuki Dadonov
Drouin Monahan Hoffman
Anderson Dach Slafkovsky
Pitlick Dvorak Gallagher

Would actually be the lines that make more sense. Offensive player with offensive players. A line of bigger player that play the same kind of game, a redemption line.

The D is young and will improve some are playing really well. I feel like players are not use to their capabilities right now.

Fantilli is another player I would love to get into the fold
Honestly, I think he's the player I'd like the most. Ultra skilled with size and strength, he's built to be a playoff horse.

In a year or two:

Dubois - Suzuki - Caufield
Slafkovsky - Fantilli - Anderson
Roy - Dach - Gallagher
_____ - Evans - _______

Guhle - Mailloux
Matheson - Harris
Xhekaj - Kovacevic

Dobes?

Slafkovsky played 12:41, which is more in line with the minutes he should be getting. Was also +1.

Jake Evans, Sean Monhan & Kirby Dach were 72%, 69% & 62% on faceoffs tonight, which is ridiculous. Dach & Monahan switch out with each only taking faceoffs on their forehands. That's working nicely.

Specialty teams are killers. PP is ugly. PK is scary to watch.
Play Slaf on the PP....0 for 8 last 2 games...some adjustments need to be made.

I tried to dig up that “mon beau Lars” gif where a lady was fawning over him as she met him on the sidewalk and couldn’t find it. Anyone have it?
Haven't seen the GIF but it's from this video right?

I was searching earlier for when Eller took over from MT and went to the board in the room to diagram a play or something once. No luck though.

Yeah, that’s it!!! It came from that clip. I remember someone had an image from that as their avatar.

Loved the Cult of Eller! Good times.

Thx for digging that up!

I seriously think we should waive Drouin and send him down to the AHL. The guy can’t play NHL hockey anymore. If he gets claim then it’s perfect, I just want him as far away as we can

Having Dadonov and Hoffman in the same sentence as best forwards, I just threw up a bit in my mouth.

Both Dadonov and Hoffman should be scratched going forwards and are only in the lineup due to politics.

Wideman on the point just doesn't work on the PP...he doesn't shoot and the PKers don't respect his shot so they pinch on Suzuki and Caufield and the Habs kill every PP by playing the puck on the boards.

At this point Guhle or even Harris would be better options.
