Zetterlund right now is better than Holtz though. If he's not in a scoring roll Holtz isn't worth having on the roster as a fourth liner. Having said that put him back in Utica for another year and hopefully he can EARN his spot next year like Zetterlund has this year.
Holtz will learn nothing more in Utica. Especially considering there are no decent centers on the team to set him up.
He is ready for pros now. Just needs time and patience which Ruff doesn't want to give him.
The rare game he has started on a top 6 line, Holtz has found himself back on 4th line after 1 period. How he meant to find consistency and chemistry with a top 6 center if that happens.
Either play him or if you dont think he is capable of a top 6 role, then trade him.
Ruff is killing this guy career.
