I would not be surprised if we return to the traditional defense pairs with Greene replacing Pelech:

Greene-Pulock
Toews-Mayfield
Leddy-Boychuk

It's crazy how one bad game can quickly turn things around. Dobson just learned it the hard way! Boychuk is another who deserves to watch the games from the top of the stands from time to time.

That’s why getting a vet D is as important as getting a scoring F. Now we have to ability to give Boychuk a night off and not have Aho and Dobson have to play in the same game.

Exactly. Boychuk needs to be rested from time to time at this point of the season. Now they have the depth to get everyone games and not be spread too thin on any given night.

How do you know 2021 is a deep draft already...?

it’s actually a pretty well known fact based off projections of ages and who is gonna come out. It’s being compared to 2003 by some

For sure. I was also anticipating an alternation between Dobson and Boychuk at this stage of the season if it hadn't been for Pelech's injury.

The D are getting worn down because Dobson is being sheltered and Boychuk is playing too much.

This is a solid move that shores up D depth into the playoffs assuming Pelech comes back.

It’s better than getting Vince Coleman

Devs fans are VERY happy and surprised by the return. Most voice being meh on Greene’s departure. That should tell us all something.

Ridiculous to be trying to project 16-17 yos at this point. Hard enough when they’re 18...

Boychuk's ice time has been getting lower for some time now, BTW.
