Seems like a safe bet. Brad's guy, from Toronto, solid 2-way player, shouldn't be overly expensive. My guess is 3.5-4M
Why wouldn't he? Berube likes players with good work ethic and motors. You don't have to be 6'3 and 220 to play his gameThe only thing is, is Berube going to want him? He's 5"10 and 183
Berube is going to have A LOT of say in player decisions by all reports.
He might not be big, but he works hard and is feisty... unless Berube has an issue with guys that 2x a shift, Mangi will be fine with him as coachThe only thing is, is Berube going to want him? He's 5"10 and 183

Very confident Toronto will make a pitch at around 3.5. Would really strengthen the middle 6 group.
Can’t imagine there are many good testimonies about playing in Toronto right now. We booed a 100 point player on our own team. We’ll see if Mangiapane has interest in coming home.

Mangiapane plays bigger than he is. I’m not his biggest fan, but his work ethic and his compete are not an issueI swear that Leaf fans will be Leaf fans;
-Marner is a small player
-Marner is soft
-We need more physical players
-We need to be tough to play against in the playoffs
Two of the top few threads on here are Mangiapane to the Leafs and Marchessault to the Leafs. It’s like Leaf fans are happy to get smaller and lesser players than Marner.

As of this season in Washington that's... not a lie, but it's often colored by saying "hey, he did his best there and a lot more than some other guys would do... but did still lose the puck battle"Mangiapane plays bigger than he is. we can just play Robertson and he would outproduce him if played in the top 6 ...though i wouldnt want Robby on the PKCapable of 18 goals and 40 pts.
He can play both special teams.
What might TOR spend on him?
I agree. I was just pointing out that although Mangiapane has plenty of flaws, work ethic and compete aren’t among themAs of this season in Washington that's... not a lie, but it's often colored by saying "hey, he did his best there and a lot more than some other guys would do... but did still lose the puck battle"
I didn't find him to be particularly effective.
Must have been an off year for him, because in Calgary he was a good cornerman. Very effective on the forecheck too.As of this season in Washington that's... not a lie, but it's often colored by saying "hey, he did his best there and a lot more than some other guys would do... but did still lose the puck battle"

He will end up in Toronto because thats the last play they need. That's a player will end up in Toronto, he's from Toronto and Treliving knows him.
only spitballing but it seems like a reps thingMust have been an off year for him, because in Calgary he was a good cornerman. Very effective on the forecheck too.
I agree with you - they did deserve it. The pressure of playing in Toronto isn’t something all players covet is all I was trying to say.We booed the entire team and they deserved it.
