Value of: Andrew Mangiapane to the Toronto Maple Leafs

I swear that Leaf fans will be Leaf fans;

-Marner is a small player
-Marner is soft
-We need more physical players
-We need to be tough to play against in the playoffs


Two of the top few threads on here are Mangiapane to the Leafs and Marchessault to the Leafs. It’s like Leaf fans are happy to get smaller and lesser players than Marner.

I personally don’t care about height as long as the player plays with heart. Mangiapane has a good motor and is feisty and Marchessault won a Conn Smythe. You can think of it as the Leafs trying to get their hands on a Brendan Gallagher.
