I'd wager at least a first and a blue chip. RHD who put up 50, 49, 39, 31 on a pretty ehhhhh Flames team? I'd trade a 1st+ for easy.I wonder what one year of Anderson is worth. I guess it’s almost like he has a ful NMC because his value goes way up if he’ll agree to an extension first.
What will a one year rental cost?
Trade him at the deadline. What’s the rush.
Flames add #18 and a future 1st.As a base:
Byram (extended) + Peterka
Andersson (extended) + Kadri

I have to agree with this... a young decent prospect ready for the NHL or a mid 1st+ make sense.I'd wager at least a first and a blue chip. RHD who put up 50, 49, 39, 31 on a pretty ehhhhh Flames team? I'd trade a 1st+ for easy.
in other words... 'Trade me right F***ing now'
I could very easily see the Jackets meeting that kind of offer.I have to agree with this... a young decent prospect ready for the NHL or a mid 1st+ make sense.
Could be before if CGY want a pick this year : DET MTL CBJ PHI OTT all have picks in 13–22 Range and could use Andersson. If Lindholm is the Right comp with 1st + 2x2nd in two later drafts, you re probably in that range.Trade will happen after July 1st.
I’m curious to see the return as he will have a big say in his destination.
I think it makes sense for the Flames to trade him since Weegar is better and Parekh incoming. Best comp would be Lindholm 1st +2nd + 2nd. I found he lost a step last year so I would rather go for a bit of a discount but if Flames fans who answered me on another discussion are right and it was just bad luck that explains the abysmal +/- then I d say he gets the Lindholm return.
He was already -25 before that already. And leaving the pure stat watching I thought he was involved in more mistakes than I he used to. Just my opinion, I may have a flawed perception. He probably “lost a step” cause he was playing the last 12-15 games with a broken leg. That’ll do it
that actually make senseAndersson with agreed extension for Nadeau and one of Carolina's many firsts?
