Where are the points??

Insightful.

Some of us like to watch hockey and not just read a box score.

Players have good games and don’t score points all the time. See: Jake DeBrusk for much of this year. And oh look, the points are now coming.

So does that mean he’s “good” now but was shit for all the time before that? No, it means he was putting in the work and now he’s getting the results on the scoreboard. I expect the same out of Bjork.

He kind of reminds me of Pasta a couple of years ago. Legs constantly moving but gets a bit too eager at times and the puck seems to bobble on him at inopportune times. I think he’s in the process of putting things together but would benefit from some puck luck for sure.

Really like the 3rd line, kids need to be with each other and develop the next core with sheltered ice times. Watch the masters on the top two lines and develop chemistry, give it time. Tampa did it, skilled guys, fast, played at pace. leafs are a fast team and they out skated them. Bjork to me has the pasta thing going on,he is on the verge of breaking out. JFK may well be what he needed.

Bjork has skills to surely be excited about whether or not it
Translates consistently at the NHL level remaining to be seen
I'd like to see him on the krejci line at RW and see how it goes

ok there you go AB....make me eat my words

Best game of the season so far... winning battles using speed. Kind of reminds me of Marchand, the way he utilizes his low center of gravity

time for bruce to consider changing up pp2. backes shouldnt be on the ice for any PP time. Bjork should get a sniff at PP2 in the near future.

I'm surprised Bruce has let this kid line play two games in a row. His, and other coaches, M.O. Is to shelter younger players by matching them up with veterans.

Clearly it hasn't worked out with Backes. Glad the coach recognized this and took a chance that their skills would offset any growing pains.

Still a long way to go to establish themselves as a permanent line but the outlook for 43-23-10 looks positive.

Could remove Kampfer as well.

He hasn't been great the past couple of games after doing decently before that. He is showing that he is what he is, a tweener/7th dman that you don't want to rely on for the long haul. We really need Charlie back. As for Bjork, I thought that he should have been on PP2 instead of Backes. A couple of people have commented they thought Backes was playing well the past couple of games, but I don't see it. Bjork is just more dynamic right now and the 2nd PP unit is a bit of a train wreck.

Agree. Set up Bjork like they used to use Spooner down low on the 2nd PP unit. The kid has great skill and great jump in his skating. You can tell he's hungry.

Absolutely LOVE what we’re seeibg from this kid and that entire new third line

Bright future for all three, and Bjork will score, be patient. His game is right where it needs to be and he’s exceeding expectations given how last year went.

JFK is also another who’s impressed me,I never was overly a fan, but he showed last night why he’s been compared to Bergeron in style of play and I saw a lot of offensive grit. The points will come and when this team has three lines clicking offensively and it’s 4th is creating havoc, watch out

Big fan of Bjork. Goals will come. This new line hasn't looked out of place at all, in fact have outplayed any line they've been up against in the 2 games. Heinen too has looked very solid playing with a new center. Huge fan of Bjork and so far a huge fan of this line. Maybe the Bruins just need a 2nd line RW'er as opposed to both 3rd line C and 2RW? It's early for line 3 but so far so good.
