About time there was a matchup worth watching at that venue.
The idea that you @SoupNazi think I'm a bully is f***ing crazy.
Jesus.
I think I'm going to start a new game. Whenever there's clearly a comment from somebody I have on ignore, I'm going to respond a la Scrubs.Except that's not the joke. And this isn't the first time you've been confused.
Dude, you're looking washed. You can't even follow along with the jokes. You're basically Abdelkader trying to hit anything that moves but you're too slow.
whaaaaaaatnew season of Unsolved Mysteries.

So, to whomever launched the invisible nugget of stir-the-pot-ness, I give you: So's Your Face.
Huge benefit of the GR area too. I've heard beer league outside of hockey hotbed states are either bad or way too good because it's a bunch of retired pros/semi prosI love so much about living in DC, but a huge thing I took for granted about metro Detroit is the abundance of adult hockey leagues. So much ice, plenty of inline/floor/etc. within like 20 minutes of just about everyone in Oakland/Macomb/Wayne/Washtenaw I feel like.
I've really missed playing lately, and I think the few leagues that the DC region has are too far from me unfortunately. Hope your leagues are going well!
When I lived in Wichita, KS, way back in the day, it was like that. Bunch of transplants working in the aviation industry there, including a ton of Canadians, and a couple [older] former NHLers.... and then a bunch of low C-league/Rec locals. Not a ton in between. But when I moved there I was just glad there was a rink with men's leagues at all, I originally feared I wouldn't be skating for a few years lol.Huge benefit of the GR area too. Yep. When you join a league in podunk-ville that's where you'll find the Canadians. I lived in Asheville, NC and had to drive an hour to Greenville, SC to play. My team was half Canadian interspersed with a Swede and guys from states that bordered the Great Lakes or Canada. When I lived in Wichita, KS, way back in the day, it was like that. I volunteered at Forgotten Harvest a few weeks ago. Amazing people there in my experience. I probably won't eat certain fast foods for a while (won't put them on blast) but I will do it more frequently.I hate to back-to-back post but I came here with a purpose. If you're able, please donate to a local food bank this holiday season. Cash is the best option; the food banks know how to stretch a dollar better than any of us. If you're in metro Detroit I would like to recommend Forgotten Harvest.
We all like the holiday meals, let's make it available to as many as possible.
Si. Arguing in the Pronger thread got me back to my roots... I picked this name when Nick only had 1 of them. I like to take some of the credit. *cough*Wow, @sparr0w was @norrisnick this whole time? Welcome back.
It had been bugging me that I couldn't figure out who "sparrow" was this whole time, knowing he was a throwback like most of us. It's like a masked guy at a party finally takes it off, and you're like, "oh, damn, it's nick! man we used to do keg stands in the Cobo parking garage back in the JLA days!"Wow, @sparr0w was @norrisnick this whole time? Welcome back.
