I have a NAS set up now. 14 TB of storage that my family can remotely access and upload to. Waiting for BF to get a second 14TB so I can set up the redundant backup so we won't ever lose our shit anymore.

Hopefully that redundant backup is stored somewhere else.
I'm the somewhere else. It's more redundant backup for the stuff my mom keeps on her computer. So my NAS is going to pretty much be everyone else's offsite storage. and then for me onsite, it'll be to facilitate data transfer in our own server.

@jaster had some New Orthodox M-43 tonight while in town for the Wings game, really liked it.
Nice. Haven't had it myself, and I'm pretty behind the curve on newer Michigan beers in general, but I'll keep an eye out when I'm back around the holidays.

Maybe get you some Dino Mac and Cheese from Moms too.

I need some good Michigan beer recommendations. My young ass needs to expand his beer pallete.
Founders is popular. They made Michigan beer famous and people travel to Grand Rapids to visit the brewery. My cousin's favorite beer is Erik the Red from Dragonmead in Warren.

Mercyful Fate is touring with Kreator and Midnight. Went to the gig in Phoenix last night. Damn good show. Could not pass up a chance to see Fate live. Not sure how many more opportunities there will be for it. Highly recommend checking out the gig in Detroit on 11/5 if tickets are still available.

Best Halloween costumes you've seen so far?

Some of my friends are big time into intricate costumes. This year, I'm gonna be Ness from Earthbound (it's a horizontal striped shirt, a red hat with a blue bill, blue shorts, and a backpack pretty much. I'm excited.

Several IG friends have some badass ones like a hand-sewn Daphne from Scooby Doo dress, Medusa with rubber snakes attached to a wig with dark green eye shadow. And various other stuff. Probably my favorite thing about this time of year is seeing how crazy some people get.

I am going as Dexter and my girlfriend is going as one of my victims, full saran wrap outfit. Saturday she is going as an airline pilot and I am going as a steward.

Awesome.

My niece is also going to be Hermione (she’s 8 and just started reading Harry Potter) and for school, Anna from Frozen.

I’m also going to find the easy Shaggy costume (green shirt, brown/red pants) and try to get good enough at photoshop to slap the Scooby costumes together in a picture. (As the Velma is in Barcelona, Spain, Daphne; Adalaide Australia, and if I do shaggy, Canton Michigan

If you want a laugh then I'd search them social medias for the Spirit Halloween Costume memes. Some of them are actually good and harmless costume ideas. I'd post some here but community guidelines and all.

Yes. That is also a worthwhile pursuit. Spirit Halloween costumes for the memes and smokeshows and/or ridiculously well designed costume ideas for traditional follows. Like I saw one where a family with a child who needs a wheelchair built up a whole Good Humor man ice cream truck around him so he looked like he was a guy driving an ice cream truck.

Don't stop believing!
I have testicles. 2 of them. While I have a very wide vocal range, it does not span that high. My high range is what most people consider mid-range, such as Beattles.

Even my falsetto will not go as high as Steve Perry. Love his music though because I could sing it before puberty.

I can go lower than Barry White. Sometimes I'll sing Barry White, not that I have any soul (literally and figuratively), but I can do the intro really well.

Edit: FYI my natural voice is somewhere around Eric Burdon/Tom Jones baritone.

Roadhouse Blues by The Doors. Great to sing while holding a beer, and should fit your vocal range nicely.

If you sing poker face like this guy you'll be a hit!

Barbarian on HBO was a great, unexpected horror flick. Cabinet of Curiosities has been okay so far, some acting issues in a few episodes, it's been kind of hit or miss for a consolidated individual story episode format.

Andor continues to be surprisingly good also.
