Technically the noise is real from a real exhaust. its just amplifying the electric motor sounds. Regardless, still sounds awful lmao
it sounds like bad entrance music for a move villain. Car itself doesn't look bad, though. Looks like a dodge.

And I know this might be blasphemy for some folks, but if Dodge does their job right the electric could be a helluva car

I've used various domestic cars for work and I really enjoy most of them. When they are pretty new, they are great. But I'm not really a fussy car guy, so I'm pretty easy to please overall.

The issue is I don't trust them to hold up well enough to buy one myself. Hard to argue with the reliability stats around Toyota and Subaru, for example.

Maybe it's different now, but I guess we wouldn't know for another decade how they are holding up approaching 100k.

I've had two grand caravans that we've beat the snot out of and, aside from rust issues, they have held up pretty well. Won't disagree about preferring a Toyota or Subaru, though. And I think foreign cars have a level of refinement in their interiors that the majority of domestics simply lack.

I should have said a "helluva Dodge" rather than a "helluva car" but it was really just going against this idea that electric cars are some how lesser. The level of performance that can be pulled from an electric car is crazy.

A modern day Kaufman

Man, I’ve seen some pretty absurd work before but I don’t think anything can prepare you for how far off the rails the Rehearsal gets. Fielder on an HBO budget is reality-distorting.

I was a bit worried with HBO and all that Discovery merger business that this show would be on the chopping block, but it seems we'll get at least one more season.

Given you guys are into that Nathan Fielder vibe, I'm going to also recommend Joe Pera Talks with You. Also available to watch on HBO Max. It's an absurd little heartwarming comedy. Hard to explain. And it takes place where I grew up, so it's difficult for me not to love it all the more.

Traveling for work this week and in Montreal. I got to the airport three hours before my flight out this afternoon, cleared through security, and promptly spent over two hours waiting in line for Customs, and managed to miss my flight. Now I'm stuck in the airport until the morning because I refuse to go clear Canadian Customs again, then have to go through that again.

Annoyed is a good way to describe my feelings about the fact that U.S. Customs has only five agents working on a Friday afternoon in August.

Saw this and thought of you gamer types here.

For those following along at home. The Rehearsal finale was not what I expected. And some of the most provocative TV I've ever seen. I can't really say much more than that, or if people will enjoy it, but I know the entire season is something wholly unique.

If you're into things that are a bit surreal or avant garde, it's worth a look. If you're wanting to just kick back and laugh, I'd look elsewhere.

Maybe @Ed Ned and Leddy or @RayMoonDoh can help a bit here.

Yeah, a wild finish to a wild ride. The show had some laugh out loud moments, but for the most part it feels like a social experiment where even Nathan himself doesn't really see the destination. The last episode did go in an interesting direction, and I know people are going to have mixed feelings. I still sometimes have mixed emotions about his work, but I liked that in some ways he tackled the ethical questions of his work head-on.

Very tough show to describe, but I think it asks some really interesting questions about human anxiety, parenthood, and dealing with reality. And Nathan does so in such a bizarre and unique way that you're always left wondering what's coming next. Really really interesting show.
Anyone watch HOT D last night? Curious to see where it goes. Matt Smith is a fantastic actor.

Trying not to get my hopes up, but that really did feel like old Thrones. I'd love if HBO can salvage the Westeros and Co. universe, because there is so much gold there. HotD is going to be pretty key in reestablish viewers' trust, I really hope to see it succeed.

For those here that are soccer fans FX has a show called ‘Welcome to Rexham’.

It’s a documentary about Ryan Reynolds’s and Rob McElhenney buying a football club in a small, post-industrial town in the middle of Wales, and their attempt to get them promoted to the next tier of English football. So far it’s been pretty interesting.

Pinched the f*** out of my pinky trying to pry something off a gift my brother and his fiance made for me. Bled like a stuck pig! Worse, I feel like an idiot like there clearly should have been a better way to do this.

Ended up with a nice inch long break in the skin that is now bandaged and will start to heal over. Another scar born of I'm basically a dummy.
