Deceptive 2C.

I know I started a 2c 3c war on toughts the other day, but I did believe Sutter would start him at 2c. DS seems to like his game, and did in camp. He might be placed better at 3c once the team settles down a bit, and Carter back to 2c, but right now they lack scoring wings in the top 6, and it's easier to place Shore there. DS could have Stoll or Richards there, and I'm not debating that maybe he should, but I think DS has seen enough of them.

I don't know it could be Greene.

We can guarantee that they'll both take penalties sometime during the game.

Probably. They both average about a penalty more than once every two games. What's scary is their stats on penalties are almost exactly the same - both played 44 games this season, both have 42 penalty minutes, and the difference between their ATOI is only 1 second!

Andreoff is highly likely to get a penalty if he plays. His rate of penalties is by far the highest on the team. For about every 11 minutes he plays he averages 1 penalty. That is by far the worst on the team.

He skated after practice with RR and the extras. He's not in tonight.

Following up on @lakingsinsider report on Jones, can confirm JF Berube on way to LA from Manch. More on @JRouby here http://mayorsmanor.com/2015/01/la-kings-2014-15-midseason-prospect-rankings-no-6-10/

Watching the "NHL Classic" Kings vs Rangers from 2000 when Rob Blake had 5pts(hatty, 2a). Kings go up 3-1...Down 5-3 at some point in the 3rd.

It's like I'm watching this season in the past.

If Berube’s flight has any issues, Kings can just ask Dean to talk for a while during Blake’s ceremony.

I love Hammond's tweets

#LAKings officially recall Berube, place Toffoli on IR. Had heard Jones could be placed on IR; in the end, it's Toffoli.

Only 1 game after this and then the break, should give MJ ample time to recover from whatever his illness is

They were a power house going into the playoffs last year as well. Remind me again how that ended for them.

Things are different this year. They have Kesler, and not to mention their youth is stepping up for them in a big way. All while our window for more cups is rapidly closing, a lot faster than I thought it would at least.
