It's up there with the Southern Expansion and the crease rule as the stupidest things to happen in the Bettman era.

Shootouts are a disaster, would be like ending an MLB game with homerun derby.

Cut the ice, play 5 minutes of 4-4 and then 5 minutes of 3-3, if no one scores then it's 1 point for each team.

I have hated them since they came in the league, stupid way to decide a game. They award 2 points for a regulation win, why can't they award 2 points (1 each) to a tie game.
