I think that while we woulda liked to see better out of the guys, we put on a decent show for the national crowd... Anything to draw focus from East coast hockey/Original 6.

I'm going to bed **** this ****.

What an uneven mess of the first 16 games. If the whole team wasn't sick, then I don't know what they were doing.

It would be nice of Quick could have made a save in the SO.

His play went a bit down hill during the second half of the game. It didn't help that dumb and dumber were on the ice. And 2013 Muzzin is back!

Good game by Richards, he looked like he was the only one who gave a damn.

That was like an East game for sure, Piss poor D on both sides. Leaky Goalies.

Thought I was watching Pitt/Philly there for a minute.

Dean is going to have to do something, even if it's minor like moving Stoll for a draft pick to free up cap space to add a defender.

We can't keep trotting out McNabb, McBain and Greene every night until this Voynov situation resolves itself.

Decent show, but terrible hockey. Like the Pens Flyers series a few years ago.

I'm afraid of what Kings team we may witness tomorrow. Could be another train wreck defensively.

Haha Benn/Seggy going to have a field day with that Mcbad pairing. I bet Sutter was just watching that pairing mumbling to himself "Hmmmph these gents are bad"

I know Dean is high on McNabb, I've defended him too but yeah this experiment isn't working out.

Would seriously rather play with 4 D then ice the McBad pairing again.

What a crazy ass game  I expected entertaining and got it, with all the injuries and sicknesses.

When I saw Kesler dangle a guy to the ground I KNEW it was McBain.

Our defense is in shambles. Ducks played well, but my goodness, hard to generate offense when you have dump trucks chasing the play around then fumbling the puck like Geno Smith. McNabb, McBain, Greene...thank goodness for Muzzin, Doughty, Martinez. This team will look worlds different with Voynov and Regehr back, never mind the eventual, inevitable trade for a better defenseman (Mitchell come home! :P).

and to be fair, I'm okay with McNabb being our 6-7 while he learns, but he can't just come in here and play a buttload of minutes with a guy who has been in our organization one week.

Sure, plenty of teams will line up to make the Kings life easier. Every team needs a $3 million 4th line center with 0 goals a 1 point. Defensemen are a dime a dozen too.

The Kings will have to make what they have work.

Kopitar still **** in the shootout.

Why do you guys say this bologna?

Last year Kopi was 6 out of 13 in shootouts, he made the most shootout goals and had the 3rd highest %. He shot 46.2% when the league average is about 33% Carter was only 4 out of 13. Claiming Kopitar is **** in shootouts is baseless.

I was worried about McBain being paired with McNabb at the start of the game...but dear lord. Never, never, never, never again, please.

At least we got a point we didn't deserve. Wish they could've been better for Quick.

Against the 3rd worst defensive team in the west, could be another one of these games.

But the ability to matchup may allow them to not get dominated like tonight.

That said, got a point they didn't deserve, i'll take it.

Its asking too much to get decent minutes from those two against a ducks team at home. They've been together 5 minutes, one hasn't played for ages and the other is as green as grass.

Dude, we just lost to the Ducks. Emotions are a little high right now. Some irrational **** is going to get said.

Yeah, I get the feeling Sutter wanted to see what they had. Mission accomplished
