It's possible that Verbeek could be taking his time with Luneau and letting him stew in the AHL full time than be in a rotational situation, since his game is relatively unknown. Then that would leave LaCombe to pair up with Dumoulin. LaCombe can PK. Cronin did identify that LaCombe was the most improved player at the end of the season.

Dumolin-Luneau
