Trouba has become underrated. I'm glad we are addressing a massive weakness here, finally using some cap space to grab a player most other teams cannot make work.

Dude, ok.... again, not his biggest fan but getting a physical guy like Trouba for a 7th Dman and a 4th rounder, thats a pretty good deal. And he is/was their captain so we add some leadership to the locker room too

I despise this so much. I'd rather have Vaaks but whatever, they've clearly decided he doesn't have a place on the team because of injuries. Vaaks and a pick?
I think you're seriously underestimating how hard he's fallen. This could be another Allen situation.
We never should have been the ones forced to pay in this situation either. I'm marking this down as Verbeek's first genuine failure.
