Man, Ostlund's hands are magic. Biggest takeaway of the preseason is his upside being higher than expected. I keep imagining him with really good players around him...

Whatever boxscore you're looking at is.....incorrect. Detroit kept their A-team in Detroit to play the Pens.

The Amerks got most of what Grand Rapids is going to be....plus a few ECHLers.

Most of the NHL regulars have had three tuneup games since they played the first two in NA and then the exhibition game in Munich. We'll have to see if that makes a difference just having weeks of practice time instead.

Maybe its a good thing to get the basics from a new coach who actually knows what he is doing

Do they have the size and grit this year? Seems to be an issue come playoff time when they have to play the likes of Syracuse and Hershey.
