Pretty solid. Banged some bodies, moved some pucks. No complaints from me.

Edit - he set up Rosen in his wheelhouse on consecutive plays to get the GTG. The Dunne goal assist was more due to Ullmark and Sebrango being on different pages. He was trying to go cross-seam with the pass and it did get there but the goal wasn't directly due to him making a particular play.

Starting to see why Ostlund/Kulich are here, and Savoie is not.

Not to say I've watched him in four games as an Oiler (two prospect and two preseason) and say that he's had one strong scoring play in four games or anything. But Matt's been very, very tentative in Edmonton thus far.

The games are going to get a lot harder as the preseason goes on. Teams will send all the players like we are icing back to juniors and the AHL. But this group should be damned proud of these last two games.

If this is something Leone can keep up, I'm looking forward to the AHL season. Now how do I sell enough blood to buy the AHL pass through Flohockey? I'm not sure, though it's more that they don't accept it when you bring it in in buckets.

Lol, was about to post the exact same thing. Would be the first time for me, but I've been thinking about it a lot.

If I'm being honest with myself, I've already decided. Just trying to come to terms with it, budget-wise.
