Nice person, I didn’t mind her. She was pretty, but her looks were overrated. She didn’t try out to be a supermodel, she tried out to be a reporter.

I thought she did fine. To be honest, the way she did interviews and such was better than Cerny who kind of stumbled over words. End of the day, the role really isn't reporter as much as it's just content and fluff pieces for the team site.

Our media department on the official page has always been mediocre. Cerny wasn't all that special either.

Why did Calamia get the boot though? His articles were alright.

Yeah this one is surprising, but all the best to her!!

Like I said in the Duguay thread, they better be getting some more lively people!! Gotta get the fans interested in pregame/postgame/in between stuff.

Wish her well. Truthfully I disengaged from the digital offerings when she was brought on board.

Cerny was leagues better, knew the game, treated the players with respect, asked hockey questions that drove great content.

I stopped after a couple of interviews with Borges. Whoever they have running their digital needs to be reevaluated. Lots of colorful gifs and and kiddie marketing.

Forced exuberance after shitty outings.

Took away from the seriousness of the game. There are sporting orgs across that really have their fan base and customer analytics down pat. The Rangers, with their wealth and wealth of data are really lacking in this department.

I don’t mind it being lighthearted and fun. It’s sports, it’s not serious. But they should gear the coverage toward adults for the most part.

NOTICE: We're not going to turn this into a babe thread. Any discussion of Amanda's ****, ***, *****, **************** or ******** will be removed and the poster will be dealt with accordingly.

I don't think I've ever laughed this hard in my life! Do you do comedy?

I've never really cared for player interviews. The reality is I probably wouldn't like most of my favorite athletes outside of the sport. So, the interviews don't do much for me.

The fluff pieces are crap, obviously. I do check them out simply because on occasion you get a new tidbit of interesting information (same could be said for interviews, I guess), but generally they offer nothing.

So, that all said, I don't really care about the guys that work for the team. I honestly had to google "Amanda Borges" to remember who that was. Part of it is living out of state and not having MSG, but most of it is not caring. For me, as long as the independent beat writers do their jobs (ours are at absolute best, mediocre) I'm good and pay little attention to anything produced by or for the team.

Hopefully another woman in the same job, but I somehow doubt it. She did a good job and the two years felt like yesterday - where are all the time going?
