I understand that many things about both teams' play concern both fanbases and rightfully so. Likewise, I know both have had relatively easier schedules to start the season. Still they're both top 3 in the division and have excellent advanced metrics. Kings are 2nd in the league in 5on5 xGF% and Nucks are 4th. Kings are 1st in the league in xGA per 60, while Nucks are 3rd, 5on5. Kings are 2nd in all situaitons 5on5 xGF% while Nucks are 12th. Kings are 1st in league xGA per 60 in all situations, while Nucks are 3rd.
Keep in mind all of this while the Kings have not had Doughty at all, whereas the Nucks have not had Demko at all, recently suffered an injury to Boeser, and with both Petey and Miller being clearly off (Miller finally taking a leave).
It's completely valid to be concerned about their play since there are clear flaws that would still linger even if both rosters were 100% healthy, but I still believe both teams are strong.
