Season 7 of this show started last week. 10 contestants who are trained in survival vying for $1 million prize

I’ve watched most of the previous seasons and I felt season 6 was the best. This show and Billions are in my top 5 shows right now

If you like the survival aspect of survivor this is the real deal. They don’t get hamburgers and chocolate for winning challenges. They either find food or they starve

anyone watch this ?

I didn't even realize a new season had started until last night. I like how they changed it up this season to see if anybody can last 100 days to get a million dollars.

One thing I have to say is how does somebody lose their firestarter seemingly every season? I'd have that damn thing on a cord around my neck at all times.

Good point. Such a small thing that really is your life line

check out the winner from season 6 on Joe Rogans podcast. Talks a lot about the season and his experiences. I think he would have gone another 70 days if needed

oh sweet baby jesus... I need bug spray asap after the last episode

absolutely love this show, I've seen every season

Saw the first 3 seasons, and then completely forgot this show existed...

If you're going to be a contestant on this show, fatten up in the weeks and months leading up to it!

I've often wondered how a 500+ lb person would do if they set up camp near a water source, and basically conserved their energy by not moving the entire time except to drink water...

Never watched this, thought I would give it a try. Season 1 is on Prime and just watched the first episode, I'm interested enough to keep watching. Figured I'd "root" for the guy from Ohio, and he quit after 1 day. LOL

An offshoot of Alone is called Alone: The Beast. They ran six episodes from January to March of this year. It's pretty good too.

I even managed to find the full premiere episode online. The people who compete in this make Survivor contestants look like p***ys.

The people on here are mostly all trained in survival and agreed with above. This is a legit survivor show. Survivor the TV looks like crap compared to this now. That’s more about social gaming.

Down to the last 4, I can tell it's important that these people have at least a decent story, if not a good personality. The dude from Georgia is hilarious and great TV. Since there is no relationships with anyone else, if you have boring people, it would have to be a hard watch for anyone but an outdoorsman.

Alan? I think he might be my favorite contestant ever on the show.

Jordan season 6 winner made for great TV. His knowledge and Moose/Wolverine kills was incredible

It happened to me a couple of weeks ago and I can say it was a somewhat uncomfortable experience but the fly came out after about 5 minutes. But every time since then when I feel something weird in my ear, I fear it laid eggs inside my ear. :eek2:

2 episodes into Season 4... the one with the teams of 2 that have to find each other

It really bothers me that in Episode 2, the son quit already because "it didn't feel right"

The problem I have is that he applied to be on the show, he was accepted to be on the show, and his participation on the show meant that another team wasn't given the opportunity

If you're not prepared to suck it up, don't go on the show!

If I was his father, I'd disown him...

True! The guy that lasted only 7 hours still takes it for what a joke it was. He was talking a good game before he got there

Still watching Season 4... I hate that the guy is using his daughter's birthday as a reason for why he wants to quit...

Don't sign up for the show if you're not prepared to be away from your family!
