I think I heard he's going to need antibiotics, so minimum probably 1-2 weeks.

(I'm not a doctor, just going by my past experiences with them)

Arniel said they'd update in a week
The way they mentioned it, it didn't sound like we were talking 1-2 weeks.

So it takes training camp for a professional athlete to get diagnosed?
well it sounds like it wasn't an issue, then he got skating on it in a serious intense way, and probably irritated something and that caused the infection and it swelled up over night and became painful......so yeah.

You usually wait for there to be a disease/injury before you make a diagnosis. that's how doctoring works

damn that sucks for heinola. know someone recently that developed an infection due to hardware in their leg and the recovery was brutal. hoping they caught this early, and everything recovers smoothly from here on out.

I'm no Dr either - but I did stay at a Motel 6 once so ...

Depends on the bacteria and how resistant it is. I just hope antibiotics can handle it.

Came here after hearing on Skates and Plates that our top 2 lines to start camp were:

Connor-Scheif-Vilardi
Ehlers-Names-Iafallo

In view of all metrics last season, how are we not playing Ehlers with Connor and Scheif? One of the best in the league instead of one of the worst defensively responsible lines in the league.

Buffdog, through sheer tyranny of will, proved all analytics wrong this summer.

My guess is Stanley will play alot this year due to that.

Can't see him ahead of Hadyn and Coghlan when cuts come.
