Also to add to an organization who misses the mark on everything.

The season ticket holder gift this year was a Lindy Ruff bobblehead. You had to order and pay for it.

The same one they just offered as a giveaway for a 3 pack ticket deal, I imagine.

Imagine taking $4,000 from these people for season tickets and not giving them a bobble head that cost 70 cents to make probably.

Anyone still defending Pegula is just coping or in denial.

Will fix everything
Literally the only way you can fix this organization.

Unless they start playing home games at HarborCenter, the NHL won't do anything.

This isn't the first team that has been bad for a decade+.

For the league to step in and force an ownership change, you have to essentially be a fraudulent owner or lead away in handcuffs. The reason Arizona came to a head was because the owner essentially got them kicked out of a flawed by viable arena by fighting over the lease and not paying the bills. When he basically told them they were going to build a new arena and couldn't deliver. I think the NHLPA complained enough about subpar facilities and other owners complaining that low revenue was effecting salary cap, etc.

I'm sure most of the Atlantic Teams are happy to have buffalo be a perpetual door stop.

Someone has compared us to the pre McDavid Oilers. Just keep getting top picks but never able to be competent.

I actually believe ownership cares, but between the Bills, the Bills stadium, and family issues with Kim, the Sabres have become a low priority and even if the Sabres still hold a special place for Terry and he wants to be involved, even he has to admit it hasn't worked.

While resources ARE an issue, throwing more money at the problem, at this point, isn't going to fix anything. You fix the front office, spend resources there to get us back on par with other teams, and then work up a realistic plan for playoffs next year and beyond.

The pre-McDavid Oilers, the Melnyk Sens, and the Dollar Bill Wirtz Hawks eras are all similar to what the Sabres are going through now.

There is a 0% chance that the NHL steps in and forces Pegula to do anything he doesn't want to do just because the team can't figure out how to end the drought.
