Went through the NHL store. Did one jersey and it came out to $108.88 including tax. Turns out I could have used my Discover card to get 10% off but didn't realize at the time. Someone I know shipped out two jerseys to them direct and I think they charged $160 total but I'm not a 100% sure on that.
 
so it sounds as if arenawear raised their prices. it is now $85 for home/away jerseys plus tax. before i send to them, is there anywhere else that is worth sending to that is cheaper or should i just go with arena wear?

That's been their price for at least the past 3 years
 
EPS charges somewhere in the area of $60 I believe, someone correct me if I'm wrong, and they do a good job as well. Arena Wear's obviously the best and most authentic though. Definitely getting your money's worth through them. Haven't heard any complaints about EPS though, they do the on ice jerseys for a few teams in the league as well.
 
Nephew wants an Avery Statue of Liberty jersey:

1. Someone told me that wouldn't be available since Avery didn't play on the rangers at that time. True?

2. What is the best place to buy this? Thanks!

The last year the Rangers wore those jerseys were 06-07, Avery played 29 games for them that year but I'm not sure if he wore one.

If he did in fact wear one, the easiest bet would probably be getting a blank one on ebay then having it customized by AW/Cosby's

Thank you. Just so I understand, if Avery did not play on the team at the time nobody would sew on the number and name? I thought they would even put my name on it if I wanted that?

Lol sorry I should've specified, some people who collect jerseys (myself included) won't get a jersey with the name of a player who never specifically wore that jersey for team, we just consider it a jersey foul

If you do go the ebay route, nothing'll stop you from being able to put Avery on it. It's really more of an anal thing :laugh:
 
are there any companys similar to We Bleed Blue? Only other one I knew of was Sect 406 but I haven't seen anything new from them in awhile.

I am Blue York is a newer one that started last year. There's also 33rd and 7th. Madison Square Garments appears to have folded already.

I still think WBB is the best of the bunch.

Just got back from Arena wear. Team issued home Lundqvist, Zuccarello Whale authentic.
