Try calling Cosby's near MSG. They may have some stock. There are a few on eBay now, but more than half are fakes.

Think your best bet is to check on ebay every once in awhile. I grabbed 2 Callahan Stadium Series jerseys off there for cheap and had them shipped off and stripped with Staal and Kreider.

Yea, they have hank and mcd jerseys on there. Wanted a Brass or Zuke one. Where did you get them stripped?

I actually bought a seam ripper and stripped them myself. One of them came out fine (ironically the first one I did). But the second one had the letters/numbers basically superglued onto the jersey so I made a bit of a mess with them.

I sent both off to EPS, I went back and forth with Josh there and told him my story of how i butchered one of the jerseys. He told me they had ways of cleaning the jerseys and covering up some of the holes I made, so I took the chance. Both came back in really good shape. In hindsight I woulda just paid the extra few bucks and had EPS strip it from the start, but it was worth a shot.

I probably woulda been fine if that second jersey wasn't superglued on lol.
 
Sunday night I was a little drunk and I used that opportunity to finally pull the trigger on a Zuccarello home blue. My only home blue for several years has been a Prucha, so I was well overdue for an update on that one. (Had been wearing a white Brassard and a blank CCM white for quite awhile). Now, if only they release a 3rd that I actually like I'll get a Stepan.

Any website that has Stanley Cup Patches on the chest is very clear indicator that they are counterfeit.

Wouldn't surprise me. shop.nhl.com does some of the worst customizing I have ever seen. I learned my lesson years ago after placing an order and getting a heat pressed name/number. Immediately returned and went elsewhere.
 
OK, I've been holding back on buying a new jersey this year. I tried to pull the trigger on one a Hags when the nhl site made that mistake and had jerseys for like $20 or whatever it was. I want a Fast jersey because I like him as a player and I've been rooting for the kid since we drafted him. Two questions though:

1. He's on his 4th number already. 12, 91, 19 and I feel he had a 40-something when he first showed up. Does he stay with the 19?

2. I was trying to find a cheap Richards/Gomez to have stripped but can't find a deal that makes it worthwhile when I add the stripping/customizing. I have a blank White CCM that has been worn maybe twice. How wrong would it be to get that done? Would anyone really care?

I also have a blank White CCM, but I'm going to go with a Ranger great for the CCM jersey (Graves) just to be accurate with the times. I'd wait personally until next year. If Fast sticks with 19 it's most likely permanent and you could have a cheap Gomez/Richards altered.

Do what you want. Do you really care if some random person at MSG snickers at you because your jersey isn't true to the time?
Full disclosure - it would bother me, but I don't judge people.

If I ever grab a Liberty 3rd it's Gretzky all the way. They wore those things a ton when Gretzky was here for 3 years and really started to phase it out in 2000 after he left. But that's just me.
 
I would but it feels so generic... I have a white Tikkanen Liberty and a blue Leetch Liberty... might just get Mess Kovalev or Ulf. But I do already have a Gretzky Oilers jersey.

Looking to invest in a Mens L Zucc Home/Road [have yet to decide] jersey to add to my current collection. I've been hearing horrible reviews regarding the authenticity of jerseys being bought on NHL.com, so I'm reaching out to you guys.

Outside of going to Gerry Cosby, which I will be going to sometime next week, does anyone have a solid recommendation for a website that will provide me with the authentic looking/lettered jersey I am looking for? I'm insanely picky when it comes to my jersey, and as its my first jersey I've purchased in a while, I really want to nail this one!

I trust your guys judgement 10000%!

Buy a blank jersey and send it out to Arena Wear. They do the customization for the jerseys the Rangers wear on ice. It's $100 if you drop it off at the NHL Store which they ship to Arena Wear for you but it might be cheaper if you send it to them directly yourself.
 
I just found my old Statue of Liberty.... (gulp) Bobby Holik jersey (given to me as a gift when we first acquired him). It still fits me all these years later -- quite comfortably, too.

My question is: should I take the name/numbers off and get somebody else on the back or sell it? I know a lot of fans are very fond of the old third jerseys because they have that awesome 90s throwback feel to them.

All suggestions are appreciated. Figured I'd come here and ask.
