Whoever didn’t vote Ichiro into the baseball hall of fame needs a good old fashioned kick in the ding ding.

if i ran the baseball writers' association, i'd strip that guy of his vote and if i'm mlb he can't get credentialed to any event even remotely associated with the game.

i know the insufferable guys in the past always had the "so and so wasn't unanimous, so no one should be" but i was really hoping all those guys had died out.

sidenote - i never pay much attention to the actual votes for the nhl hall (except to note rod's continuing snubs), but is this a problem in the nhl? when ovi or crosby are up - if their wait isn't waived lol - would anyone have the balls to declare that loudly that they are an idiot?

so many in the past 25 or so years that should have been unanimous if not for idiots: Jeter (and even I think he's overrated), Ripken, Griffey, Ichiro, Ryan, Brett, Gwynn, Johnson, Maddux, Chipper
