The ASG is what it is. I remember they used to excite me when I was a kid. That's when these games are fun.

For the players, it's shinny, and will continue to be shinny no matter what variables are introduced.

These guys are already playing more games than they can handle in the regular season alone, so I dont think it's reasonable to ask for an intensity filled ASG.

Exactly. The ASG is for kids, the players are hungover from going out the night before, it's a big schmoozefest for sponsors and not meant to be intense for god's sake. There is over 1200 regular season games that are intense where players are blocking shots, the ASG shouldn't be one of them.
