From what I caught on the highlites. The participants including the alumni players and the suits are have a fun week-end. Me watching them do that on TV ??? well if I had a broken leg, with a bad flu and was bound to couch duty I MIGHT have caught a segment.

Unless you are in it, looks like an event for kids and groupies.

Not surprised that you guys are whining yet again. Never happy with what the league got to offer. The All Star game is a gimmick, The Winter Classic is boring, The World Cup of Hockey is a cash grab, The NHL Awards is grinch-worthy etc...

I always like the NHL All-star weekend, it's fun and I get to see some players that I'm less familiar with. Especially with this years edition where 18 players are in in the Skills competition for the first time. It's not perfect but in general it's a fun contest. I wish they could bring back the elimination shootout next year.

Seriously don't know what is the issue with some of you people always complaining when the league has an event.

Watching all those all star old timers makes me feel old. I watched them all play at one time. This should be fun.

PK is not at 100%.

It is in accordance with his missing in hard shot competition.
