It was very anti-climatic.

It basically ruined the mood for other players that could potentially have fun/be more silly.

Imagine going out after Kuch. ouch... " That was Nikita, please give it out for grumpy Russian no one forced to be here "

edit: He should get un-sportsmanlike misconduct for that attitude! Two-game suspension on top :D

Not even joking, he obviously went only to avoid missing game after ASG so he decided to degrade the whole event.
Ahh yeah they are, fines ….

1 million on the line and Matthews first pick is Nylander and not Marner.
What’s a million to these guys, a million split no less. Have a look at McDavid’s face when informed he won the million. Didn’t even crack a smile, he did say thanks a lot… ho hum

Considering the contracts they negotiated, seems like they care about every last penny. Then again, maybe it's not the money but the ego boost they get from the numbers so you're probably right, actually.

You see when an average person wins a million bucks, lots of joy, jumping around, maybe even watery eyes. McDavid absolutely unfazed sort of like when I roll up the rim and get a free coffee. lol!

For you I guess. Not surprising.

Most if not all of this bonus money will probably go to charity anyway.

Wasn't it reported that he was the one who proposed this All Star strategy to Bettman? Easiest 1 million he ever negotiated in his life.

But funny enough I don’t think either of them and especially not Gretzky ever stood out the way McDavid does today in an overall skills competition.
For sure cause his speed is rediculous no one was ever that fast with that Sticc handling but the dog isn’t too far off

There is no f***ing way this guy singing the Canadian anthem is born and raised in Cambridge Ontario.

Cambridge Tennessee? Cambridge Alabama? Maybe. But definitely not Ontario.

That’s what I mean, McDavid is unquestionably the most skilled player ever, but talent is where Lemieux and Gretzky have a case over him. Imagine Lemieux with all of todays advantages?
Same goes for Bobby Orr, can you imagine if they could have actually repaired his knees, and he was wearing the feather weight pads and skates.

He may have gotten close to the 1200 game mark, instead of the 657 he did play with possibly 125 of them playing on one leg.

Just think 657 gp 270g 645a which are just
incredible numbers

And if Mario didn't miss those 3 years which could've been some of the most productive of his career.

Safe to say Marner would have finished last today lol
Safe to say so would've Gretz.

Mediocre speed with good edges
Mediocre shot with decent accuracy
Wizard like passing skills with genius level hockey Q.

Sounds a lot like the guy you're talking about, I just don't understand why Mitch doesn't put up more points.

Kucherov is a whiny baby, dirty, piece of shit and always has been. Fantastic player but utterly unlikeable.
So exactly what this team is missing…

If you've ever watched an American broadcast team they just love his skill level.

The guy is a top 15 player in the league, get over it already.
Referencing an American broadcast regarding hockey isn’t the best way to prove a point

Nylander and Reilly look like they're having fun..nice to see them getting some time to shine a bit. In a team with Matthews it's easy to get overlooked I guess lol
