Wouldn't Vanacker be ineligible due to the same age related CHL/AHL rule that prevented Korchinski from playing in the AHL last season?
They can play after their CHL season ends. Lardis and Misiak did so last year for example. Can't remember if they are eligible for the playoffs or not though.Wouldn't Vanacker be ineligible due to the same age related CHL/AHL rule that prevented Korchinski from playing in the AHL last season?
No he’d be eligible to be assigned to Rockford on a ATO onlyWouldn't Vanacker be ineligible due to the same age related CHL/AHL rule that prevented Korchinski from playing in the AHL last season?
Nobody has heard anything. When someone does, it definitely will be posted here, it's just been quiet so far.Any word on the Lardis injury? I have been unable to find anything online.

I'm pretty sure Misiak is hurt ,,,,,,,,,,,again ,,,jjeeezzzz another DACH brother .Seems the only players not eligible for AHL playoffs are guys on NHL rosters during the NHL trade deadline (that aren't "assigned" to the AHL team via paper transaction on the day).
Guys on the reserve lists and guys already signed to NHL SPCs are eligible for the AHL playoffs. Vanacker and Lardis are both eligible for Rockford, though obviously Lardis seems out for the remainder of the season. Misiak is also eligible, etc.

BleacherNation put out a top-20 prospect list. They considered Nazar, Slaggert, Dach, Kaiser, del Mastro, Allan and Crevier to be ineligible because of time spent in NHL this season. They didn't exclude Korchinski despite him spending the entire season last year because he didn't play much NHL this season. He also excluded Bedard, Vlasic and Knight because they are already established NHL players. Here are the top-10 on the list - pretty solid.
1. Rinzel
2. Levshunov
3. Korchinski
4. Lardis
5. Moore
6. Boisvert
7. Vanacker
8. Pridham
9. Greene
10. Kantserov
Yeah I think that's fair, including list of which players qualify as graduates (a lot of it is semantics of course with regards to the DMen who are still waiver exempt for next year between 25-100 career NHL games - Allan, Del Mastro, Korchinski)BleacherNation put out a top-20 prospect list. Kitchener reverse sweeps Windsor and Pridham is moving on to the third round.
There isn't room on the roster next season for Soderstrom if Rinzel and Levshunov are both ready. So at this point, not much to get excited about.I know some of you feel bader model is not very accurate but he ran Roman K . went 30 D-1 34 D-0 24 D1 and 68 D2.
23% star and 83% NHL player D2. still nice to hear. feels like a solid Middle 6 wing.
Mario Trib mentioned that from what he heard he is not sure soderstrom is coming over and that there is not alot there to get excited about. its a touch unclear. he may have been talking about Safunov but I think it was soderstrom.
Idk if you mean Bader or SoderstromChayka's pet sucks
Also prefer Boisvert and Lardis to Moore long term. Think Boisvert going to jump up boards after next season at BU. Whether can translate to NHL or not is a different matter, but headed in that direction. And yea , Levshunov still has higher ceiling than Rinzel IMO but may not reach it, who knows.I'd go:
1. Levshunov
2. Rinzel

4. Korchinski
5. Kantserov
6. Lardis

8. Vanacker
9. Pridham
10. Mustard
11. Greene
Kantserov is good.
The injury to Lardis, who declined to offer specifics about the nature of the leg injury, didn’t fulfill his optimism, but it also didn’t come anywhere near the worst possible outcome. Lardis sought multiple medical opinions after the injury occurred on April 13 and was given the same encouraging news: His injury wasn’t severe.
“There’s no long-term effects that will come from this injury,” Lardis said. “There’s no surgery involved or anything. It’s just more of resting it for a little bit, like a week or two, then starting the rehabbing as well. I should be good, hopefully, in a couple weeks here, or a little longer. I’ll have the whole summer here to kind of train and be 100 percent, ready for next year, which is really good.”
