Boisvert…..stays a year or Rockford?
I think he stays too. Rockford is also going to be pretty crowded next year. They're definitely going to want some vets around like Seney or Mayhew but there are only 12 forwards and here are 14 names:

8 under contract already for next year
Ludwinski, Lardis, Raty, Misiak, Hayes, Savoie, Anderson, Marcel

5 likely to sign
Moore, Pharand, Greene, James, Thompson

1 Maybe
Safonov

This is how you can actually have 'too many' prospects or draft picks.

Pretty eye opening when you post it like that. They'll need to move on from Ludwinski (brutal brutal season), Anderson, Marcel to have any room for vets.

The D will be interesting as well but I think the D slot in pretty well actually.

Plus you have others knocking on the door besides Boisvert like Vanacker, Kantserov, Felcman(maybe), Spellacy, Mustard, Pridham in the following years.

This isn't including 4 1sts and 5 2nds in the next 2 drafts. At this point, draft picks, unless they're at the very top of the draft, don't have as much value to the Blackhawks as you might think because they have so many of them and only so many roster spots in the NHL and AHL. It's going to be really interesting to see what KD does moving forward.

Posted in Salary order not a lineup.
Bertuzzi Dickinson Teravainen
Foligno Veleno Mikheyev
Reichel Bedard Nazar
Slaggert XXXX Donato (?)
****Kurashev is RFA, Guttman, No Forwards in system knocking on the door.

So they can sign one high impact forward or two. Marner, but more likely a Tavares or Boeser or Ehlers. This lineup is WAY fuller than I thought and it isn't very good. They don't have anyone in the system demanding a spot so it will be more of the same with one MAJOR addition. Like a huge contract, it has to be.

Vlasic Murphy
Brodie
**** Kaiser, EDM, Allan, Korchinski ALL ready to be regulars on left side.
**** Levshunov and Rinzel could be ready some point next season. Soderstrom is a sneaky good player as well.
The D needs to be handled internally. I don't know that I'd sign anyone at all.

Basically, We already have a complete logjam of forwards. The AHL team has to be completely reworked. On defense they have to get our of the Brodie contract. There are too many young guys blocked by him.

You can remove Brodie, he’s getting bought out

I don't think Pharand is going to get an NHL deal from CHI. Might get an AHL deal.

Raty isn't under contract next year and Marcel isn't on an NHL deal either. I don't think they have any intention of bringing back Raty and he probably just goes back to the Liga.

So they have Lardis, Ludwinski, Hayes, Misiak, Savoie and Anderson (6) on NHL deals for Rockford next year.

They'll likely sign Moore, Greene, James and Thompson, bringing them to 10 contracts. Then sign a couple more vets to AHL or NHL deals.

Abd IF we land Misa ,hevisctoo goodctp go back to thebOHL and too young forctyecAHL ...so has to bevon the Hawks...you do notcsign a center vet (Tavares who provabl re-signs at a discount witb Leafsxanyeay ifvtyey cannot extend Marner who will command a max cobtract as a ufa)..

Do not know if WPG can extend Ehlers if he goes to ufa ...not sure what his asking price would be...$12 million?
Marner's camp probably asking g $16-18 million perseason.

So Kantserov 2a +2 today in c4-2 Metallurg loss to SKA St Petersburg.
.
Still...Kantserov has not scored a goal in last 19GP ...do not know why he cannot score goals like he was when so so hot before the goal slump..stick on12 goalscsince January 11th.

Went to see Boisvert both games last weekend in Kalamazoo and watched last nights game, the shot really does pop off his stick and he has an excellent one timer. One thing I did notice is if he is pressured on the wall with his back turned he tends to just fling the puck to the middle which isn't a horrible play sometimes, but a lot of times just ends up clearing the zone for the other team

If Lardis can get 3 more goals this year he will have the highest since 85-86 in the OHL. Everyone above him on the list is from the 80s.

He’s about to pass Gilmour, then Lindros, then Tavares.
