As to Nazar...shortchanged.. only 15GO this season to date intge show..BUT he is ona oace slightly below what Vinny Hinostroxza put up in his first "season" i the show.(the few games at end of colkege sesson is too small axdamplevto include) But in hos first lengthier showtime chancexafterxaxRockfordxseason ,,Hinosyrozza sored 3g 6a in40GP....about the same pace Nazar is at.

There was all this excitement when Vnny came up.. smurf but very fast goidxsjater..Nazar better I Rockford and a 1st rounder.. Vi ny more late rounder.. but if Nazar fails to convert soeddvubto production it amounts to tge sanecthibg=failed SMUTFS ..

Thev"imoact" Nazar has had is very disappointing.. That he has not shown he can translate his game to thevNHL level ..we shall judge him over the next 25 games to at least see if his scoring pace leaves Hinostrizza i the dust or becomes even a bigger fail...

Not sure why I am bothering engaging with someone who spews and rarely interacts/responds....but please stop the comparisions to Hinostroza....a late round pick who had played 2 full AHL seasons and was 2 years older than Nazar is at this point when he got a fulltime extended look in the NHL. Hinostroza got a look with actual talent of a team in the midst of 3 Cups in 7 years as opposed to one on track for hopefully it's 3rd top 2 in the draft picks in a row.

Brody Martin who probably goesvinthe mod teens has a goal and an assist for Team West ..So does Jack Nesbitt for Team West (1g 1s)..Nesbitt probably goes late teens.

After 2 period s Team Westvleads Team East 4-3 ..
2nd period goal for Team Eastwas scored by Owen Griffin.. with assists from linemates Lirim Amidovski and Aidan Young..They had co ined in the first period for Rast's 2nd goal with Amidovski scoring assisted by Griffin and Young.. So tgatvkibe has 2 often East "s 3 goals so far..

West's 4th goal scored by Adrian Misaljevic off a beautiful rush up the right wing into the o-zone and firing a wicked shot from near the right wing boards.. You could say Misaljevic fired a missile forca goal.

East scored the only goal of period 3 to tie it 4-4 ..then off to OT ...both goalies made great saves to keep it tied...Martone hit the post...so close..till finally on another later shift in OT Martone did beat Kaprowski (I will check the spelling to win the game 5-4 for the East.

Overall pretty even game shots very close..
I thought both 2nd half goalies,Kaprowski for the West and Ivankovic for the East played great making great saves .

The 2 highest rated players , Misa for the West and Martone for the East ...
Misa had only 1a in regulation.. Martone had no points in regulation.. but Martone shone in the more open ice of the 3x3 phoney game in OT ( hit the post .. also a nice save robbed by Kaprowski robbed him ..then finally scored the OTwinner...so a mixed bag report for him ...did not do much ..did not impress in the forst 3 periods ..but he get into a fight and got a 5 minute major (so did the guy he fought)...by the way 3 other fights in the game ...very combative game for a showcase event...

Misa did get that beautiful assist in regulation where he carried the puck with speed from the high right boards over to the left dot and sent a pass back door for an easy tap in goal...He did show speed on a break-away but got stopped by Ivanovic (in the 3rd period ) and he did also almost get another break-away but the puck got away from him, he also whiffed on a clear shot chance ,and in the OT he had a good 2 on1 in close chance but
his pass did not get through this time and it went the other way..so some chances and a.. But overall I would say he had a few dangerous "almost" plays
.BUT those came off as speed /skill finesse moments ..not anything looking dominating the puck possession except for that puck carryvfron the boards across the o-zobe to the dot where he "owned " control of the puck ...you could say he was kinda meh except for his 1 special assist and sone :flashes " of speed and or skill..but he left me wanting more than this ..I would not say lack of intensity but you want more than nothing some shifts interrupted by a few moments of flash and dash almosts other shifts .. Certainly not his A game...expected he would show more to wow the scouts and show his lofty rankibg is correct. So a mixed bag on his performance..

Not that Martone was that impressive either upto the final few shifts in the OT on less crowded ice ..and takingva useless 5 minute fighting major prevented his team from using him on shifts in that span ..so earned demerit points for that.

So kinda less than impressed by either of them most of their shifts.

I was impressed by the play of Brady Martin,AdrianMisaljevic ,Jack Nesbitt.. and the 2nd half goalies Kaprowski (let me check the spelling if wrong I will correct it) and Ivankovic.

Put it this way.. I dod notcsee franchise difference -maker clear cut "stars" out there ..but these games are good because you get competition from a higher level(most of these players will get drafted.. On therexOHL teams that is not the case ...only a few players are already drafted and only 1 or 2 maybe 3 will get drafted in 2025 from each team ..
So since nobody shone to superstar impression level in this close game ,maybe I have to think about lowering the ranking for Mosa and Martone ...but then Patrick Kane stunk in hos Top Prospec game ..so 1 bad game should not kill a near the top ranking ..but for those who did show well or better than expected,perhaps they movevup a bit?
