I'd sure hope our 7th overall pick isn't our 7thDVlasic-Jones
Kaiser-Levshunov
Allan-Rinzel
Korchinski
Hopefully Lardis can fix his shot.Alex Pharand two goals
Nick Lardis 3 assists
He looks like just a guy. Still early though.Am I the only one who’s not crazy high on Kaiser?

Crazy high? Other than Vlasic and perhaps Rinzel, I don't apply the term to any of the young dmen. Yet. Then again I live in Colorado so my definition of crazy high may differ.Am I the only one who’s not crazy high on Kaiser?
I could potentially see him as a regular third pairing, but this isn’t the first time I’ve seen him penciled in as a projected top-4, and I was wondering if there’s something I’m missing. He looks like just a guy. Still early though.
A couple of non-fancy 5x5 stats for Kaiser for Dmen(Not including Phillips due to games played):
Penalties drawn/60 minutes= .63 - 1st amongst Hawks Dmen
Minor penalties/60= .84 - 3rd
Takeaways/60= 2.32- 1st
Hits/60= 5.49 - 1st
Blocked shots/60= 7.39- 2nd(Only behind A Martinez)
And his main issue which is problematic with the "eye test"
Giveaways/60= 4.86- worst performer on the team for Dmen
His fancy stats which many of you will dismiss are pretty decent. His PK numbers are solid. For a 22 year old dman that was drafted in the 3rd round, he's over performing in his own end.
11 games as a professional. No training camp. Maybe a little more patience is in order?by most accounts KK seems to be turning the corner. not so much for LEV.

Campbell always played LD.It sucks that none of Korchinski, Allan, Kaiser, Del Mastro, or Phillips are right handed. If neither Levshunov or Rinzel are ready for next season and Murphy gets traded, there will be a serious dearth of RHD going into next season.
I do remember that Brian Campbell was left handed and played on the right side because it suited his game better so I'd be curious to Korchinski on the right as he has a similar profile. And it looks like Rockford is trying him on the right so it'll be something to follow.
I'm almost positive.
