Oliver Moore with 5 points in 9 games so far, that is ugly. If I’m Kyle Davidson, I’m admitting my mistake and trading him for a top 6 forward if you can even find one available.
I am high on Lardis. Kid just scores.Honestly for the amount of picks we’ve had I’ve expected to see a bit more development. We haven’t had a prospect really take off. Some good ones in there, I’m super high on Rinzel, Nazar.. but man. You’d hope to hit on one or two picks that immediately look like home runs and continue to be.

Dach is playing well, 8 points in 9 games so far. But more importantly, he goes to the net and isn’t afraid to shoot.I don't follow prospects as closely as a lot of you guys... But Nazar and Rinzel are thriving. Aside from them who is doing well?
Dach maybe? Levshunov is obviously way early in his development, so he gets a pass for now.
Super nervous about Korchinski right now because if the offense doesn't come around then he doesn't have the skillset or mindset to stick in the NHL in any role, IMO.
I liked Gajan but I wouldn't have taken him at 35.Said at time that Hawks were passing on alot of talent at #35 and that "This is a pick that will either turn out to be a genius move in hindsight or a missed opportunity."
As of now concerned we threw away 35th overall (And frankly #55 as well with selection of Misiak)
Bedard isn't the rebuild. A team, especially defenders growing who take longer, is the key to actually succeeding.I'm starting to get really concerned about the rebuild. I don't see where Bedard's help is coming from with the current prospects.

I'm well aware, but it seems like a lot of the forwards drafted are stagnating.Bedard isn't the rebuild. A team, especially defenders growing who take longer, is the key to actually succeeding.
I was fine drafting a goalie but never believed in Gajan. Said in his draft thread. Too many 1st round 2nd round goalies of the past are busts who were drafted because of amazing WJCs. 5 great games even with "best of best" topic is a much worse evaluation than 40 or so games multi years.
I believe you reversed the win/loss. After the weekend Augustine is 6-1.Eh Trey Augustine is 0-6 with a 1.67 and 0.935%
Still early for sure but at some point a high end prospect is going to make a difference at lower levels even without much help
I did, I swear hockeydb had it reversed. Makes a lot more sense lol thanksI believe you reversed the win/loss. After the weekend Augustine is 6-1.
Well that fat lady hasn't sung quite yet. McGroarty outperformed and outproduced Nazar last year in college and look how they're both doing now in the pros. Both have played 9 games in the AHL and Nazar has 11 points and McGroarty has 2. Let's see how the next couple years play out before making any proclamationsKD so fixated by skating that he ignored offensive hockey sense and finishing ability...
They were so giddy about Oliver Moore falling to them...in retrospect it is NYR thatvis laughing about how goid Gabe Oerrault has been developing into a go to force in college..
Moore has been a disappointment for not loling like a topic forward prospect ...Whefe's theboffense? 1g 4a in19HP this season and -1..Soph .season off to regressive start..nothing special to indicate any driver of offense A JaG ...Just Anotger Guy to compeye or a 4th liner role..."but hev s a beautiful skater"..
Right. It took MacKinnon a few years to start putting up legit 1st overall numbersAnd for Forwards, remember that Bedard is only 19 even if not technically "prospect". He has almost double the points of Adam Fantilli and Leo Carlsson right now, the 2nd and 3rd overall picks. Most of the other guys his age are still playing Juniors.
Perspective.
who is the 04 D that is doing well in college?Hawks have an 01, 02 and 03 born Defensemen that are on the NHL roster right now. Another 03 is thriving in the AHL right now. An 04 Defenseman is crushing it at a premiere college program.
Haven't even mentioned the 04 and 05 born Top-7 picks. Hawks future looks good on Defense. I know it doesn't always turn out that way, but they have good odds right now.

I like the plan on defense right now. If Murphy and Martinez are traded at the deadline, you can bring up EDM for the last 20 games and try to get him established as well.Hawks have an 01, 02 and 03 born Defensemen that are on the NHL roster right now. Yeah it's hard to imagine the Hawks Defense not being really good in say 2030, unless they horribly botch it from an asset management standpoint (hello Rob Blake)I like the plan on defense right now. If all goes well, you could have 4 defenders under the age of 25 on the roster next year getting more experience. So when the hawks are ready to push for the playoffs, the defense will be ready for it.
