Moore is centering 2 freshman and getting some 2nd pp minutes. He probably needs to leave MN to develop if they are going to use him like they are this year.

Unless we win lotto,how about moving upto #1 to get Martone by a package of our 2 first roundersxand Moore (I mean if Moore is sogreatxa prospect,Surely the team landibg#1after lotto would jump at a deal like that...they might have the value of 3 first rou design 4-9 pick+a 19 pick (Moore) and a late first (our Toronto pick)...if notcenough throw ina 2nd rounder next year..
Anyway.. we have tge picks quantity and theborospect depth to do the Big Sokash move up...
Yes we need 2C..but could maybe get that I freexagency or trade or from Boisvert down the libe..
I too have said Moore must use transfer portal to go somewhere he gets a more offensive role on top line and a Po2 to prove he can be a too six line driving and points 2C guy..
We do not need him for3C or 4C checking role .
Had he shown more offense,Minn. U. would have given him more featured role ..So unless they promise to change his role to featured scorer next season,he should leave for better opportunities.
Till he shows he can be that offensive leader,he remains a disappointment given alk the excitement Hawks heaped on the fans as to how excited they were he "dropped" to them in the draft..
A great skater and checker ...BUT...the rest package looks like not much impact offensively...

Not writing him off but if a young NHL talent becomes available then Moore becomes a potential trade chip with progress of our other C prospects including two fellow 1st rounders

How about our 2 1st round picks this 2025 draft+Moore +our first rounder 2026 unprotected = equivalent of 4 first rounders to move up to land Martone (because of course we will not be lucky enough to win the lotto from a 4 to11 pre'lotyo finish.
KD needs to make a Bog Splash with all the draft and prospect pool capital we can package to make such a move up..
Would whatever team wins lotto take a 4 firsts for Martone deal like that?
MRtone IS the star prospect dream winger for Brdard and tge top line ..Si,e,hands,scorkng ,ive vision,goescto dirty areas to score,power ..it is all tgere in 1 great package..can't miss top line winger.
We need this guy ..so a 4 firsts package might entice a team to take that haul especially if they have depth in wingers in theirviwn prisoect pool.
If they prefer a,dnan then use KK insteadvof Moore or both and keep our 1st in 2026 ..
If they insist on Moore+Kk and both 2025 earliest of 1st picks plus 2026 unprotected then ask for a 2026 second rounder back with Martobe in such a blockbuster deal.
If a team rejects all of these as tgey value Martone more for themselves that proves how much Martonecrealy is worth.

Just flicked on Erie game , what a goal by Misiak (his 2nd of the night ) Henry a goal as well tonight .
Well if we do not win the lotto for Martone , OR do not successfully tade up for him ,the choice between Michael Misa at center or Schaefer as the best dman in tge draft who is a stud(2g 2a last night) would upgrade our talent and lot.

Man i was really hoping Gajan's numbers prior to college were a product of a bad team but if he finishes the year sub .900% again im not sure how you can really project him as a starter moving forward

He is on a bad team. Discount the two Stonehill College wins and Minnesota-Duluth was 1-4 going into the weekend.
Eh Trey Augustine is 0-6 with a 1.67 and 0.935%
Still early for sure but at some point a high end prospect is going to make a difference at lower levels even without much help
