That's why I want him in Rockford next year. For my own selfish purposes, I don't want him in the classroom but doing everything he can to get bigger.I think Rinzel is looking so good ,he still needs to add meat on those bones .
For my money, there isn't another prospect in our system whose development has jumped more the past 2 years than Sam Rinzel. Roman Kantserov is up there as well.
This is why I'm a big fan of having as many 1st and 2nd round lottery tickets as possible. Two of the most promising defensemen for the Hawks were drafted 25th and 43rd.Rinzel has twice the amount of goals for the Gophers as Faber did in his last season there.
In less than half the games.
Let me introduce you to Jack Rinzel. The S&C coach at Idaho and Sam's older brother. The better question is whether Sam will keep his mobility when he comes an absolute unit when he grows up.I think Rinzel is looking so good ,he still needs to add meat on those bones .
Yup , that's another reason that RINZEL is looking like GOLD !! 6 ' 5" frame , excelling now and can easily add 20lbs , maybe 35lbs .Speed ,size and smarts .Let me introduce you to Jack Rinzel. We did it when we brought Tichonov with Panarin.Maybe that's what Lazerus was getting at in 2026? I also like the idea of having another Russian on the roster for him to bond with and help with the adjustment and I don't think Mikheyev will be here. European soccer teams do it all the time when they bring in someone from Brazil as they always try to have another Brazilian on the roster for purposes of comfort. Maybe Levshunov from Belarus counts or they bring over Safonov?
Or maybe....just maybe they figure out how to get Kaprizov here in 26. That would be pretty cool
Yeah, a lot of people here are catching on to his unique skillset(s)Rinzel is a freak. We all love having him on the Gophers.
I hate to be this guy but I'm genuinely asking. It's nice to see Lardis produce at 1.59 PPG in the OHL but last year, Gavin Hayes was at 1.38 PPG in the same league and doesn't look to have much of a future as a pro with has lack of production in the AHL. I know that 1.59 > 1,38 and Lardis has more goals, but are there any distinctive differences in their games that would make one think that Lardis has a future with the Blackhawks?

Totally fair. And I've never really seen Lardis play so I can't have much of an opinion on him. But I've seen Hayes at the world juniors and the few games Rockford has been broadcast on TV and have barely ever noticed him do anything. Maybe that changes but he looks like a non factor out there after producing like crazy in the OHL.Hayes is 20 games into his professional career. Pump the brakes on the "he has no future" talk.
Lardis is a natural scorer/shooter and a much better skater than Hayes. Lardis' game has its own issues too but he should be able to create more offense at the next level than someone like Hayes, who projects more as a complementary winger that doesn't drive a ton of offense himself.
Well, the point Powers was making in that post, and the reason I shared it here, wasn't the whopping one goal last game, but the ten shots on goal.I hate to be this guy but I'm genuinely asking.
