Corey Pronman has us #1 Organization's in under 22 yr old's !!!!!!!!

And Frank Nazar 14th among Hawks young players!!! He has Isaak Phillips and Colton Dach ahead of him. He is a joke!

Scott Wheeler and Corey Pronman are journalists not scouts. They do cover a lot of prospects and get a lot of attention but I wouldn´t rely so much on their views on young players.

While I don't like that list only featuring 3 Hawks prospects, it should be acknowledged that KK is only not a prospect because of the stupid rule between the CHL and AHL, and Bedard is not a prospect, despite the fact he'll be one of the youngest players in the league again this season; potentially the 2nd youngest full time NHLer (right after Celebrini).

Edit: and out of the 10 honorable mentions in that article, 3 are Hawks prospects (SB, Rinzel, Edmonton).

Pronman lists us as currently having the best chance of any rebuilding team to turn it around and potentially win the cup.

For comparisons sake, Detroit is 12th and St. Louis is 14th.
I agree with it. Like yes, you need your superstars. We have Bedard already. There’s a few defenseman that have massive potential in our system to be stars. We’ll have to see on wingers, maybe 2025 will be the draft.

But time and time again, you need depth to put your team over the top. The Hawks have that in spades in the pool. Guys who can become third and fourth liners. Maybe second liners.

It’s not unlike that 2010 hawks team. Bolland, Byfuglien, Hammer, Keith, Brower, Burish, Bickell. All non first rounders who found a spot in the lineup, some higher than others.

Find a couple other pieces like Ladd and Sharp, a couple free agent signings and suddenly you’re looking damn good. You keep shooting on guys, you’re bound to find a few gems.

The Hawks are in a pretty good spot on a long-term basis despite the constant neuroticism that it could all end up not being good. The cap flexibility is the other big piece to it. Once some prospects come through and are ready to be playoff ready contributors, there's going to be money to pay them and supplement with free agents. The way the NHL is structured with the hard cap/UFA at 27 setup, the odds are good for the Hawks to be a in favorable spot a few years down the road.

I dont really understand what you're getting at. Don't most rebuilding teams have ample cap space?

For top 2 scoring lines lines looks like they put the older players on them, and the younger pkayer on thec3rd line...4th line is older again but probably just checking line with Marcel Luypen and Rolston..

As to 3rd line of Lardis Soellacy and zMusiak....interesting they are using Soellacy at Center and MisiK on the wi g...O think Miaiak drafted for a center role and Spellacy as a power forward winger..so isvthisvjust an experiment?

Bummer that Lebshunov and Phalanx miss the tournament due to injuries (of a minor type but still preventing them from playing fora few weeks..

Yeah, Spellacy at center and Misiak at wing caught my eye too. With Lardis on that line they are very fast and the line I'm most looking forward to watching.
