I think he'll play for a couple months before they send him back to Seattle

Allan is becoming a favorite of Richardson's, Colton hasn't gotten into a preseason game yet (we've only had the one so far), and Korchinski might not be going back to Seattle if last night was a sign of things to come.

That is great for Korch, which might be why Seattle just traded for a 19 yo D man.

How are my Seattle Boys looking? Korch is going to get his 9 game cup of coffee yeah?

All 3 of them have looked good. Dach is almost 100% going to be in the AHL. They've got Allan playing on the right side due to most of the young d-men being lefty's. He will almost certainly be in the AHL too although there's a decent chance he'll get a cup of coffee during the season. Korchinski is almost certain to start the season with the Hawks with the only question of how many games or possibly the whole season - it pretty much depends if he plays so well they can't send him back.

Who did they pick up?

There is a difference between being a reach and a bad pick at the slot, and a bad player in general. You always were of the opinion that Allan was just a bad player in general.

I think that has been proven to be wrong.
I said Nolan Allan's upside is a bottom pairing D.

I also said Nolan Allan will spend most of his time in Rockford this year.

None of these things have been disproven.

head exploding...because I was right?
Were you?

Bust.

Stan is intentionally sabotaging us.

No offense, poor defender BUT HE THROWS BIG HITS WOW

Can't wait to see his illustrious career in Rockford play out...

In terms of speed, average at best. He gets burned constantly.

He's not a good defender and he's not fast. You're delusional.

He's not a good defensive player.

The only people Nolan Allan will surprise is the Blackhawks organization when they realize he's a bum and a waste of a 1st round pick.

Watch him play. He's awful in his own end.

I scout hockey. I have an understanding of the game that Nolan Allan fans clearly lack.

He has no value

We need some sort of master list to keep track of where everyone is playing.

Samuel Savoie - Gatineau Olympiques (QMJHL)
Nick Lardis - Brantford Bulldogs (OHL)
Martin Misiak - Erie Otters (OHL)

all beginning their junior seasons shortly

Is Paul Ludwinski still in NHL camp or has he been sent back to Kingston (OHL)?

Savoie isn’t in Gatineau’s lineup. He might still be at NHL camp as well.

Lardis is first line right wing for Brantford. Misiak is listed as third line center for Erie.

Both still with the big club. My guess is they are playing tomorrow or Sunday with the hawks and then get sent back to the Chl.

Honestly wouldn’t be the worst idea as a pinned thread.

Or the opinions of a self righteous asshole who is almost never correct but pretends he is knowledgeable.
Lighten up Frances.

Is that a lot of AHL (as their upside) Dmen? They just seem to have a lot of kids with potential in the way.
I see 4 dmen in Rockford with no chance of ever making the big club.
Do you folks expect that maybe a few end up in the ECHL?

Really the hawks have 11 dmen under contract. Doesn’t count Korchinski who would give them 12 under a nhl contract as long as they keep him up. So the 4 dmen under the Ahl contracts are just there to fill in bottom pair and press box duty. Also 3 of them are right handed.
