If i paid 60 bucks for either show this weekend I’d have been satisfied. There’s probably less than 10 shows in the last 10 years I could say that about

If they start charging I will most likely watch a big event here and there but only if there’s a group of friends getting together for it. So Mania/Rumble/Summerslam…maybe

Makes sense. So NBC has already paid WWE for it, and can do whatever they want with the broadcast. There’s gotta be a ton of red tape in there. I’m sure NBC isn’t able to just refuse to broadcast a show or something. I know wwe was paid handsomely for the rights to broadcast but they still gotta have some control or the ability to set SOME parameters in how it’s broadcasted
There probably is more to it, but WWE still does run these events on actual PPV.

I'm astonished that some people still buy the PPVs. Are these just people that don't have internet access? Or are they just rich as hell and don't care about the price difference?

It's probably a lack of reliable internet connection and an unwillingness to figure out the technology. Many rural areas in the US still don't have the type of infrastructure in place needed to handle HD streaming even if they technically have internet access.

Charlotte is apparently taking time off... again.

Seems like she's only interested in being around when she has a belt.

There are some rumblings about Bayley potentially leaving WWE. SRS said someone at the top of the card would request their release if Vince was back in control.

Not even remotely surprised by this. Her best friend is having the time of her life... it seems.

Man, it must be very, very unsettling to be in that locker room if you were one of the people HHH brought back.

This would surprise me. She just did a whole thing about being willing to wait for her to come back how ever long it takes and doing a Wrestlemania match 1v1 and eventually a 4HW match.

But she’s also been involved in some of Mercedes’ content, so I guess it could be on her mind.

It's just super weird right now. Last night she was cut from the show, didn't come out with her teammates and zero mention of her on commentary.

Not sure what to think, really.

Money on Bayley or Auska being the one asking for their release.

Bayley had that super cryptic tweet about romance stories ending, got cut from RAW last night and has to deal with the fact her best friend became one of the hotter acts in women's wrestling just by saying f*** it and leaving. Wouldn't be surprised at all if Sasha got in her ear and sold her on just how green the grass is on the other side.

And given how shoddily booked she and Damage CTRL were i wouldn't blame her or the other two at all if they wanted it.

Auska also posted a couple weird tweets post Mania that seemed fairly out of character for her twitter given she's a unapologetic shitposter most of the time

As for the "ride it out" speculation i'm guessing Finn. Finn was already one foot out the door before judgement day was a thing because he was sick of how he was used. He got jobbed out to Edge for no reason and was also not seen with Priest and Dom last night.

Her name was in the graphic though. Although I guess they didn't have time to kill that. But yeah, that's usually what they do. It's conceivable that she's hit her limit, Damage CTRL isn't taking off. Guess they ain't doing a break-up thing. And quite frankly, if Vince is back in it, that is not good news for Dakota or Io either, Io was gonna get cut and Dakota was cut - Summerslam was her first day back in the company.

In one of Mercedes' videos, it's definitely Bayley behind the camera, too.

Probably better for those two if they get cut.

Io could easily go back to Japan and pick up right where she left off. Dakota i feel like wouldn't have a difficult time finding a new gig since she was apparently super close to signing with Stardom before Papa Haitch called her.

This is both on Trips and Vince. He booked the women's division like absolute shit since he took over. Damage CTRL were over when they re-appeared and then became glorified jobbers that existed only to lose to his chosen ones. Vince coming back is just the final nail in the coffin for a lot of people. If i were Bayley i would ask myself "i've already been booked like shit, is it really going to get better under the old man?"

And while far from being an expert, i do wonder if there's any underlying resentment about how Sasha left/was treated once gone. Bayley and Sasha are basically blood to each other. Triple H wasn't the guy that did that, Vince did.

Bushiroad would definitely snatch them both up, Bayley I think would go to AEW. Her teaming up with Mercedes would obviously be out there to do, but they did also just do the program during the pandemic, and Mercedes isn’t locking herself down.
