I guess so but I'm hoping as the years go by, people eventually realize it's too hard to sit through both nights.
it was too hard to sit through 1 night, one of the reasons they went to 2.

I think the last few years of the one night shows were 6 hours including pre-show. The 2 night shows were 5 hours each, so 10 total.

They don't need to be doing 2 hour pre-shows. It was fine when it was a 1 hour pre-show and 4 hour main card. It's not like the roster is deeper to warrant the extra time.

They didn’t have matches on the preshows

They used to. But it would end up being a 6-7 hour show. You can fit everything in 5 hours. 2 nights is too much. I'm trying to keep my Wrestlemania streak alive but it's getting harder and harder. Haven't missed Wrestlemania since 2000.

They spend most of the kickoff show time hyping up the main show matches and haven't done matches on the kick off show lately. During Mania weekend they should do one about 30 minutes before the main show starts because that's when there are more fans present. I remember one year when they had multiple matches and during the first match not many people had arrived at the venue yet.

The one night shows the last few years were absolutely exhausting and made for poorly paced cards.

As long as they are dead set on getting everyone on the Mania card, 2 nights make more sense.

WM 35, the last one night show was 7.5 hrs including preshow

Ronda Rousey has an injury but is not expected to miss Wrestlemania

Bah, the two-night WMs just show how watered down the WWE product is now.

You have to be an absolute die-hard WWE fan to justify purchasing WM for both Saturday and Sunday on the same weekend.

With the exception of WM 20, WM 1 through 31 were all under 4 hours (approximately). During the mid 90s, many were under the 3 hour mark.

The run-time really shot up for WM 32, almost cracking 5 hours. WMs 33 and 34 did crack 5 hours. Then 35 nearly 5 hours 30 mins.

How did they go from needing less than 4 hours, to suddenly needing over 5 hours, to now with two nights it was almost 8 combined hours last year.

None of these numbers account for any sort of pre-show.

They've effectively doubled the run-time since WM 31.

I dont get needing to get everyone on the card...it used to be special to be on a wrestlemania card...now everyone is on it...its lost being special

I suppose the two days makes is special now, the "Hugeness" of it all

In the end the money talks and the opportunity to sell twice as many tickets and sponsorships and merch and everything probably means the chances of going back to a reasonable one day show are slim and none

The idea of getting everyone on the card needs to be abolished.

I'll say it again, Wrestlemania needs to be the end of the best feuds and biggest matches in the company.
