There are very few people I look at in sports where I say "wow, that person looks to be in pain."

Matt Hardy is one of those people. Even walking looks painful for him. No idea why he still wrestles unless he either has the most passion for it out of anyone in the world or is in need of money because he didn't save up.

He has a slew of kids, might be working to pay for stuff for them, or could be working just to get away from them and his nut wife a bit

The full story with Charlotte is allegedly some in the company feel that since the men main evented both nights last year that the women should get one night this year.

But it's undecided and I bet the tag match main events. These stories are always unreliable

Read that MLW is trying to get on Amazon Prime. Good move imo. I haven’t watched it post Covid but the wrestling is good and the booking seems good. The production values are really low though and that holds it back a lot. In a perfect world there would be a show with the star power money and production quality of wwe/aew with the booking value and mind for the business of MLW

The WON awards this year were so stupid even Dave had to step in and say a lot of the results made no sense
By "a lot" you mean two: Booker and Promotion of The Year. He pointed out that giving Promoter of The Year to Vince would've been problematic to say the least so that was understandable. Other than that there were no results that struck me as unreasonable (WWE as worst promotion was unfair but that speaks to the fact that all the major promotions were actually all quite good this year and how many people are even going to think of say CZW so that was actually a tough category).

WWE being ahead of CYM and NWA is stupid

What did Matt Hardy do?

He talked Jeff into not going to rehab when WWE tried to make him (plus i think walk out of a house show) with the purpose of getting him out of his WWE contract so he could go to AEW.

Matt was floundering as a singles wrestler over there and was hoping being back with Jeff would keep him on TV until it became clear Jeff was not ok

I mean that is just the reality that a lot of the people that voted on it probably don't actively consume CYM or NWA. It isn't like it is one persons opinion. A bunch of subscribers vote on it and the results are what they are. I am consistently confused why they seem to be controversial every year lol

As yourself this: was WWE, say, the 4th best promotion last year?

Now is WWE 4th out of 4? Or 4th out of 10?

It’s completely valid to have WWE in 4th place, just depends on how much people actually saw. 4th out of 10 isn’t horrible from an objective standpoint. I bet less than 1% of people who considered both WWE and CYN thought WWE was worse. Probably 20% for GCW. But how many people voting for WWE only considered them against any combination or all of WWE/AEW/New Japan/Stardom/Impact?

Also, I had no idea how much people liked that Walter/Sheamus match, and it was great. Sheamus has a 5-star singles match on his resume, the same as Bret Hart.

And I apologize if that came off as mean. People are entitled to their opinion, but its a fact WON subscribers generally lean a certain way so it's not wise to take these awards as fact
Writing these words is already giving this thing way more oxygen than warranted.

I mean they are just a thing? They only have as much value as you give them. If you don't care about them or think they are dumb...then do that. I don't disagree with you that WON subscribers typically aren't big fans of WWE but who cares? They are entitled to not like WWE lol
