I'm too lazy to look it up but didn't SRS say the deal was for 3 PPV matches and maybe six matches total? If there is another Forbidden Door then that could be a six month contract and if it was All Out then it's only nine months. Either one certainly is not a long term commitment. Maybe Dave heard there was interest however initially AEW wasn't interested in a short term commitment so no deal was made and that's the story he heard. After AEW initially balked at a short term arrangement they changed their minds and reached a deal for the number of matches SRS reported however Dave's sources are out of the loop on that deal so he is only regurgitating what he originally believed to be true. The Friday shows could shed more light on the situation if Storm is attacked, she may not be attacked until Dynamite or nothing happens and she (Storm) is the partner.

I say it every time she’s the main character of the news cycle: She’s notoriously difficult to get information about. And it works for her. SRS was the one who claimed she and Sasha were kicking and screaming at Wrestlemania, which no one was willing to corroborate.

Vince sent Jericho to do the same thing since Jericho told him he wouldn’t compete against him in the US.

I know doing Japan was something she was disappointed she didn’t get to do since she signed when she did. She’s always had her eye on it.

I am saying I will find it very surprising to see her limit herself again. At least not for long. I don’t think she will be able to just tuck that freedom away happily now that she has felt it over this whatever 6-8 months.
