There is no way they have Walter go over Brock. So if that is the program for WM he is definitely dropping the belt. I agree though.
If Lesnar is to beat him, the belt should not be involved. What good does it do to WWE to give Brock the IC belt? He has been over that level for more than 20 years and it is not as if he would do like Cena did with the US title and defend it every week against up and comers (giving them good matches).

According to the show promoter the problem revolved around them using " ECW " for the show. :dunno:

WWE owns the ECW brand and all it's intellectual properties, why should they let an Indie mudshow profit off of it?

Sports franchises don't just let anyone sell merch with their logos and names on it, WWE should be no different

All Brock does is put people over. Why would he win the title? He doesn't want to work a lot of shows. It doesn't make any sense. If the match is Brock vs Gunther then Gunther wins or Brock wins by DQ/count out without the title changing hands. Maybe Brock wins the title then Gunther reclaims it at Backlash or Brock immediately drops it to someone else no later than Backlash. It's the only realistic scenario of a potential Brock win even if it's a dumb scenario.

It's one thing for penciled in WrestleMania matches to leak however it's another for the alleged winner to leak. I would have zero faith in any story/rumour that says X will win their WrestleMania match with Y. Anyone could write about an alleged winner if they feel X and Y will fight at WrestleMania even if they haven't been told the outcome because if the match is all but a lock then there's a 50% chance they are correct about the winner. After WrestleMania either they tout their credibility about being correct months ago or they say plans change, it's a no lose scenario in their eyes to get clicks and retweets.

Not letting D-Von go is just pettiness. They probably made f*** all off that show anyhow and they quit using "ECW" after receiving the letter.

Maybe it is pettiness, maybe it isn't, chances are the dirt sheet reports do not have all of or both sides of the story, it is just as possible D-von didn't follow a procedure correctly as it is that WWE is just being petty and evil

Highly unlikely.

The people working the "indy mudshow" were almost all people who WERE the ECW brand, most of whom were owed tens (and hundreds) of thousands of dollars they never received while WWE purchased the IP in bankruptcy court and made a fortune off of it without having to pay any of the "indy mudhow" guys any of the money they were owed.

And I think it's funny that the guy who popularized the term "mudshow" is the guy who did a promotion that cynically tried to appeal to outright bigots in such a crass manner that it turned people off in droves and sped up it's demise.

Yeah and every person who gets fired from their job tells you that the boss had it in for them and forgets to mention they were stealing from the cash register or got caught jacking off in the back storeroom
Haha ok whatever makes you feel better. It's pretty obvious to anyone who's not biased what went down. But yeah keep on believing DVon didn't follow procedures lol.

It doesn't make me feel better, worse or otherwise, I don't care about D-Von, or ECW or WWE or what any of them do, but just pointing out you are just assuming WWE is in the wrong based on a story from a rumor site, these same rumor sites that have had Sasha Banks, fired, then quit, then definitely coming back, then it was a work, then it wasn't. now she is in Japan, making more than anyone ever, then Jericho says not true, and so on and so on

Nobody knows the truth besides D-Von and someone or some people from WWE

But whatever makes you happy too, I hear WWE kicks kittens and puppies, and are the people who poisoned the water in Flint Michigan

So in the end it was a misunderstanding. Will also point out that the "dirtsheets" didn't manufacture a "rumor" they merely reported the tirade the promoter went on in the ring (which in hindsight probably wasn't a good idea by him).

Well, you're original post was bashing the show so how I was to know you don't care when you went out of your way to insult it.

I'm basing it off the promoter saying that's what happened and D-Von not refuting that claim. Don't you think it'd be the quite coincidence if D Von screwed up the procedure just days after WWE sent the letter to the promoter.

Your last paragraph is just flat out stupid.

That is very true lol. I don't how many times I've told myself not to post at work when I'm in a bad mood. I usually end up regretting it when I get home and realize things like this aren't worth arguing over.

So it sounds like AEW pitched plans to Miro ahead of the last PPV but Miro turned them down as he would have lost at the PPV. So AEW is/was trying to find new creative for him but after Lana's comments about Rusev Day and everyone returning to WWE at some point isn't sure how much AEW will want to invest in Miro going forward. I am guessing they likely wanted him to put Starks over in the tournament.

Everyone wants to always win but that can’t happen. People need to lose. I understand Miro thinks very highly of himself but he’s not a top star. He’s going to have to take loses. He can’t have everything his way.

You don’t give them much of a reason to invest in you if you’re constantly not there.

The final match of Suzuki-gun this morning may be the new MOTY. What a fitting end to one of the greatest stables in pro wrestling history!
