I saw this suggested (EDit: not just by EmperorEddy), what if Roman has two matches during Mania weekend? Night 1 The Rock. Night 2 The Rumble winner. The Rock match wouldn't be for the titles but for "family honor" or "True Head Of the Table". Not sure if it's realistic but it's something I could live with.

My thought was have him defend one belt night one and one night two, so you can spilt the belts, but Rock has to do night 2 and Cody only winning one belt on night 1 does diminish it a bit.

Though long term that might be the best idea so both shows have a belt again. Idk

A lot of people think Sami should be the one to beat Roman since he's the most over person in the company now. I'm not on board with that. But I do think he should play a major role in taking Roman/Bloodline down. I've said it before but Sami and KO taking the tag titles off The Usos would start the downfall.

I really can't wrap my head around the Regal stuff.

That's such a bizzare clause to put in his contract if its true. And if it's not and he simply had a super short contract, why would you put him in a main event angle knowing he had a foot out the door?

Well obviously so that they can continue the angle when MJF joins WWE. Duh!

I mean I haven't been following it as closely as some...but couldn't it be as simple as him having an out clause at 1 year, he tells Tony he has no intention of staying so they finish the story with him and just let him go to WWE in a backstage role? Doesn't seem like the kind of thing you hold a guy up over especially if you he is switching over and not going on screen...just let the guy go. Like I said though I could be way off base. It does seem to being made into a bigger deal then it actually is, which I suppose isn't surprising.

I’m not so sure that Sami doesn’t win the rumble, and then when they turn on him, he decides he wants the title shot in his hometown

Yeah, if Sami wins the Rumble he would have to win the title I think. I don't think he wins the Rumble and I have no idea what's happening at the EC and if the title will be defended in there. If not, you 100% go Sami vs Roman for the title at that show in Montreal.

Unless Sami wins one title and Rock is for the other.

God, I hate the brand split....
It doesn't even really exist... half the title you have people on both shows because reasons.

You can't have Sami winning the rumble but challenging at EC, it massively diminishes it.

If Sami or Cody aren't winning the belt at Mania, just have Rock win. It's simple.

Also again, the length of Roman's run is the story now. You needlessly take steam away from him to have him drop the belts before Mania and challenge Rock in a non-title. It also devalues the belts that they won't be defended in the night 2 main event.

That's awful booking

The rumor is Roman/KO at the Rumble. Sami/Roman at EC and Sami/KO vs Usos at Mania.

Why wouldn't they put him in the main event angle. It was a great way to write him off and get MJF more heat.
