Army had a really good team this year, 11-2 and they took Oklahoma to OT. I usually don't watch a lot of the triple option teams but damn Army has some players. That LB that terrorized Houston ran a 10.8 100 meters in high school. Crikey when I played a 4.5 was really fast now it's 4.4 to be considered fast and 4.3 is really fast.
They’re good but that’s not really a type of offense to put up that much points. They threw the ball 4 times.
It’s so pass heavy now you need more speed out there even if it comes at the price of sacrificing size.

Looks like Applewhite is on borrowed time after the beat down by Army. Kendal Briles already skipped town and will be heading to Florida State as OC. Houston desperately wants to join the Big 12 and games like this doesn't help their cause.

To be fair they weren't good against the run all year and they had to play without all 3 starting DL. They've been good the last couple of years and one game shouldn't be used to judge a body of work, although it was UGLY.

Hawaii pissed me off too. They had every chance to blow that game open in the first half and choked it away. I have to say though that kid from La Tech that set the sack record was impressive.

Temple hired St. Joe’s Prep’s HC Gabe Infante to an unspecified posistion (sounds like LBer Coach).
They won the 6A State Championship this year & a trio of sophomores who are key players but they’re going to be national recruits as they already have big offers.

I was watching the Troy vs UB game and they were talking how he wanted to wait a year as he expects to have his best team yet next year and will have more opportunity to chose where he goes.

Some good news for Christmas. Matt Millen underwent successful heart transplant surgery and is recovering. BTN did a good piece on this earlier in the year.

Evidently three Clemson Tigers tested positive for drugs and are out of the PO games. Their names were not released at this time. Between things like this and star players deciding to sit out the bowl games, it makes it hard to predetermine who could win these matches.
